- As it turns out I didn't need to whinge about the control point handles on my image. Thanks to a couple of kind viewers I have now had my eyes opened to the fact that I could have hid them.
One viewer also asked why I didn't do a luminosity mask rather than a series of control points. I decided to take a look at that and in the end I would stick with the control points for this particular edit.
If you want to check out any of DxOs software, it would be great if you would use my affiliate links. It costs you nothing but supports the channel. Thanks.

A luminosity mask will certainly work, but it doesn't give you the flexibility that a control point offers. Personally, I liked the way you "faded" out the color as the pools of light receded. Thanks for the tip about hiding those handles. I, too, always have problems grabbing ahold of them.
Yeah me too (on the fading out) and, yes, I am so happy to have found that tip to turn off handles.
excellent ! thank you to your subscriber for helping us all. I enjoy these videos
Glad you like them!
Thank you for your videos. Have converted pretty much to DXO photolab for all my raw processing and just upgraded my nik from 6 to 7. Like the control point changes and the ease now to move to different apps in nik
Great to hear! I sure think it is the best out there :) Thanks for watching!
