Really nice comments about telemarking in terms of how difficult how it is it is but soooo worth it such as 'dancing' down the slope!

Hi Jasmine. Old School Park City Utah Ski Bum here. Nice skiing.
I switched from Alpine gear to Free Heel gear in 1986. Along the way I was recruited to ski bumps for the US National Telemark Team. I declined. I'm not about competition, and I don't miss powder days for anything. But your skiing reminds me of me. Light footed and quick. You float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.
I don't look to ski heroes for inspiration. I look to Dancers. When I put on my boots my intention is to ski like I'm the Runaway Love Child of Fred Astaire, MC Hammer, and Elvis Presley. Substitute Tom Jones for Elvis if you like. Both of them can make girls cry with their superb hip articulation. Hip articulation is at the core of high performance Telemark turns. But since Elvis is dead, you might prefer Sir Tom. :)
Anyway, I enjoy your skiing and your Spirit. I'm posting a link below to a few photos of some Old School ski bum nonsense, with a little bit of semi-serious skiing mixed in. I'm skiing in lace up leather boots with Voile Plate 3 pin bindings on 205cm Karhu Extreme's in all the Tele photos. I think you'll get a kick out them.
    Be Safe and Ski Sexy.
