Wow amazing performance by whole UCLA Bruins women basketball team tonight. The rotation that Cori Closeand coach executed today was superb and amazing. There first win versus a number ranked one team and it came against South Carolina Gameocks .This definitely was a physical and clean game tonight But And they got their revenge in Los Angeles remembering Dawn Stanley knocked this team out of the sweet 16 a year ago. And tonight they showed they can defeat and beat the defending NCAA women champions tonight and they did it amazing fashion. . This is a team that work together and definitely win games and play the game of basketball efficiently. And goes individually and collectivity thorough out their big 10 conference games a And they continue to play phenomenal defensive and interrupt their opponents offensive amd defense from the opening minute to the final minutes of the game versus south Carolina.Due to UCLA defense and offense the Gamecocks has lost this game . And that was phenomenal from both ends of the floor from the UCLA Bruins and you have to give them credit for their defensive plays through out whole game getting stops and stealing and out rebounding the South Carolina Gamecoks . And the UCLA starters and the players that was phenomenal tonight .That just show the phenomenal growth and their Resilience. And their ability to dominate constantly has grown feom last season of this team from last season to now. And they all should be proud of Sunday perfomance. Because they won and they made history this Sunday. Player stats and UCLA leaders for this game Lauren Betts with 11 points 4 assists and 11 rebounds A Kiki rice with 11 points 1 rebound and three assists. Eliana with 13 points 3 rebounds and four assists. Jones with 15 points and two rebounds. Timea Gardiner 3 points and 3 rebounds. Angela Dugalic 5 points and 4 rebounds. Gabriella Jaquez 11 points and 3 rebounds. Janiah eight points and seven rebounds. The UCLA bruins has snapped the south Carolina 43 game winning streak.

Re Fulwiley, I add this because I don’t see anyone else mentioning it. For the remainder of the entire game, she seemed entirely checked out or dejected from the time she hit the bench. Watch the second quarter, she had her face in a towel for multiple minutes and I can count on one hand the number of times she clapped for her teammates. Not to pick on her, clearly she was upset. But I won’t question Staley if she saw this and decided to move on.

I am a South Carolina fan. I think you did a great job with this video. I did subscribe and continue, but I think South Carolina is growing pains and hopefully they see they need to bring. Adel on the little harder now because she is next need a lineup change and need to give Maryam Dauda a chance to grow into the offense of flow of things because of her shooting ability and size let her play more at three with Tessa and Papa

appreciate your post game questions to teams -- thoughtfully framed. was it me or did UCLA seem bigger (and I'm not talking Betts & height) than our girls? Kiki Rice, for example, is much larger than she has been in the past

Just watching UCLA get into their defensive formation looked intimidating. They've got some solid infrastructure. SC will be a scary team with a chip on their shoulders though!

You are correct. However, I must say they (S.C.) simply missed a lot of easy shots and played without rhythm. However, as I have often stated they WILL continue to dominate a lot of teams and should they meet UCLA again...they will beat them...for sure.

I hate the word upset in a game like this it was a beat down not an upset 😂😂

We're not even a month into the season. While these games indicate potential mistakes, it's not a sign of trouble. UCLA will def go far in the tourney, I expect the same for SC. They could meet up again.

I said this when Fulwiley went to SC it was a mistake because Dawn wouldn’t unleash her. Come on, 3 minutes for one of the most dynamic players in the country. She doesn’t have the dominant center as in the pass and needs to change her approach. She has 3 maybe 4 players on the bench that should be starting.

You start missing defensive assignments, I don't care who you are, you will find yourself sitting on Dawn Staley's bench. It's a lesson Milaysia should have learned a year ago when she only played three minutes against North Carolina. But she missed two straight times picking up in transition defense. The second time cost the Gamecocks three points, and opened the flood gates for a player who went 5 for 5 from behind the line for thew game. Yes, this time it contributed to the loss, but if you let down your standards for one potential win, you might as well let them down forever.

Will I saw no calls in favor of one team over another but the true reason they won is shooting % for Carolina is way down especially the 3’s but they keep shooting this whole year shooting like 25% from near 50 % last year.

Cardosso helped keep that percentage up when she dominated the O glass last year they don't have the 6'7 big anymore 🤷🤷
