I suspect two familiars came into my life (both black cats), one boy and one girl. The boy was rescued as a random kitten. Now fully grown, Doug had been by my side for over 5 years now and he's the sweetest. The little girl (Willow) was also rescued as a little kitten crying at my door on a ice cold January night in the dead of winter with tons of snowfall. She was in rough shape, chapped nose, a piece of her ear was missing (I assume bigger animals bullying her) and cold and hungry. I agreed to tend to her for one night. That night turned into 4 years now and she is the most faithful sentient being I've ever encountered. She greets me daily when I arrive from work and she has done more for me in 4 short years than any mentor or teacher ever has. Doug and Willow parented a son, Elmer (also Black) before I had them fixed and he features all the best traits of both parents. Elmie is truly a big blessing. I'm humbled that all 3 have entered my life and am grateful to be part of their lives. Their contribution to my growth is something I don't take lightly. I rescued a wild baby starling and she became my familiar I realized because she helped me give up a very long heroin addiction. I’m so thankful to my familiars anyway. I liked how you said the different familiar as you had were associated with different phases of your life? I hadn’t really thought of it like that. I practice ceremonial magic and I find that the animals are one of those things that divinity communicates to me through, hence why I’m here trying to find more about familiars in relation to ritual😂

I have a deep loving bond with my cat. Not everything is perfect, I need to play with him more. I named him Sheer at first, but then realized I wanted to call him Seer, like a seer. It was kind of a joke because I know animals can see things many people can't. But, how is your take in this, I turned on this video, and it's storming out, and he would like to go into the back room, but instead he came and sat right down beside me. You said they would reveal themselves as a familiar when they see fit. Him coming over after I began playing this video is interesting, and he is an emotional support cat, it's in my lease.❤️ Also, the Humane society let me have him without a few extra dollars, maybe it's because he has FIV but they did that. One time, when a stray cat was in my doorway and I reached to pet it, the cat swiped at me. My cat began growling at it. He was protecting me!

To start off I believe my spirit animal is a rooster. As long as I could remember it was one of my favorite animals. A rooster has appeared in my dreams for as long as I could remember. A rooster came to me when I was struggling during the darkest time in my life. At 14 I had already planned and prepared to end my life when showed up literally 3 days prior to the day i had picked to die. He just showed up one day and from that day on became he was my other half. We all just kind of knew his name was Fred and it was as if we shared one mind/soul. I can always tell what he was thinking and vice versa. It's as if he could speak to me without using words, he understood me like nobody else and I had never had a connection like that in my life. It literally felt like we were two halves of the same whole. Whenever I would separate from him to go to school or leave my home, I could always feel him. When I come home he would Sprint to me from wherever in the neighborhood he had decided to hang out that day, full speed with his wings out and feathers puffed, dancing for me when he reached me. The crazy part is he just knew I was home, even when I wouldn't call him he knew, even if he didn't see me he knew, he just knew when i was near. I remember that he seemed to be able to tell when I needed him. When I will come home on those dark days, He'd be waiting for me on the log near my front gate. He never ran from me and when I hugged, he hugged me right back. Just having him by my side seemed to replenish and charge me. I often described Fred as my "guardian angel" because I really didn't know what else to call him. He would never leave my side without a struggle, it actually came to the point where he would force his way inside on some nights as if he could tell how hopeless and drained I was feeling. I swear when he slept by my side, I woke up feeling so rejuvenated and powerful. Sadly though, all good things must come to an end. I woke up at nearly 3 in the morning in a cold sweat violently shaking. I ran outside to find that He was attacked by raccoons that had ripped into his outdoor coop 3 days before Christmas and had nearly killed him, taking one of his beautiful red/yellow eyes and tearing his mighty crown comb. He lived and stood strong. But deep down I knew what he was telling me when he looked into my eyes that morning. I knew my guardian was going to leave me soon. I blamed myself for his death that followed 3 days after (on Christmas), the raccoons had come back to finish what they had started. Even after I had a more secure coop built for him, the worker hadn't finished securing the door before he left and because I had fallen ill and asleep, my father 'locked' the coop using buckets of cement. Freddy lost his life that night and the next morning before I even went outside, I knew he was gone. I felt as if something had snapped deep down, I felt so empty. But over the past five years, I've come to realize that he's still standing right by me, maybe not physically, but he is there looking after me. He gives me little signs all the time, Be it a feather falling into my lap, a stray rooster staring at me for a moment, or a roosters crowing the snap me back to reality when I zone out on the bus. I no longer feel empty but I still do feel a bit incomplete without him. I realize that he came to me what I needed him and left me when I was strong enough to stand on my own. My time with him was short but I wouldn't trade it for the world. My Sister is into Wicca and often jokes about how he was my "familiar" but idk. What do you think?
Also, when you are adopted by your new familiar, is it the same soul/Spirit of your last? Is it a reincarnation or is it a completely different being? I've heard it both ways but I want to know your thoughts

This sounds like a truly magical spirit connection. To me, it does sound like Fred the rooster was a Familiar spirit for you. It is most definitely unbearable when our familiars have short lives or we only get so much time with them. "Demon" isn't a bad word anyway. There are more "Faes" that show evil intentions than Demons, or Daemons have done. Demons and Daemons just work in the background.
Absolutely, Fairies can definitely be little tricksters and I recommend not diving into Fae work blindly! But just quickly, a psychosis is relatively temporary (generally speaking) where as an awakening or expanding of the consciousness that opens us up to divine destiny is more of a process of unfolding that eventually leads to empowerment. I don't have the mystical abilities to do things like this, there is any ritual that can unlock these abilities in us? Lucid Dreaming OOBE,seeing energies etc Simply make our magical rituals work, instead of being empty actions that cause no reaction (and all that remains is our belief that the ritual caused some change) I have a problem, or maybe more of a situation solution of which is problematic for me. I live in a house with many more inhabitants than people and cat. The problem is that I cannot communicate with these beings I don't know what they want and what their role is, two of these beings are my ancestors driving away the ancestors by exorcism etc is probably the stupidest solution but there are other beings,(3 or 5) neither ex-humans nor ancestors. Do you know how to check it ? Confirm that someone is actually here and then determine what their role is and what they want :(
