- Lunden then goes behind closed doors with Publishers Clearing House when they giveaway $1 million dollars to the latest winner -- a priest. Lunden selects the winning number in a bingo style lottery after it is discovered that the winning entry had not been returned. Lunden is with the Publishers Clearing House team as they surprise the winner in his small town of Earling, Iowa, population 466 people.

How old is this video? This is obviously way before they started using the internet for PCH, but I'm curious just when this video was made.

But a lot has changed since then; you could now enter online and additional prizes now include $5,000 (or $10,000) a week for the rest of your life.

I've been a Long time fan of #PCH ! since the late 80's. My folks have £ntered quite a few times filling out there mail when ever we recieved it in the mailbox when I was a kid. I remember like it was yesterday my parents mom & dad #DreamingBig talking about what they could accomplish if they had won How Great it would be to meet the Prizepatrol team" they would say.., and then would laugh and say... "awe were just dreaming" "we'll never win".. and naww..
Though we never won the lottery or ever #PCH my dad raised us like we had. We never had a lot of money but with Good morals, values, work ethic, love, and support my dad gave us practically every thing we wanted and taught us about the Good* life. So of course I tried playing #PCH through out my life here and there filling out the forms in the mailbox and sending them back in never tried that hard ..but then some definite unfortunate things happen to me a while back that made me challenge myself to the brink.That changed me.I made a vow to myself Everything I do I Will be Greatful for Every day. That I will Forever give it my @ll 110% nothing ever less In Everything thing I do. And then I saw a #PCH add on the Internet that came across my phone one day while I was at work. I decided then and There I Must make a Life choice. A Decision to Believe. And Believe in myself even More 110% because Great things Happen to the Believer. I made a Choice to once again Devote every spare moment I have #InItToWinIt with the Famous Genuine people of #PCH!!! Commit Sincerely Honestly Try 110% for the better of my family and myself. i remember as a kid sending these in all the time. My parents were like "its not real" etc but just reading the instructions you can just send in the envelope. Of course as a kid never bought anything, never needed to in order to send the envelope back, just have to read the instructions on the correct, complicated way to do it. But loved to pass the time filling out the stuff and well, you never know.
