As James headed down the mainline he heard Percy's whistle and realized this wasn't Percy. "who could've done this!" said James nervously. once escaping Percy he saw Thomas and realized that this just like the dream he had, "Thomas, YOU'VE GONE MAD. STOP THIS". But Thomas kept trying to kill James. after James escaped, he crashed into a mineshaft and started to roll down the cave fast. Almost heading into the ocean, luckily stopping he encountered Edward. they were both so happy to see one and other, now its time for the two to find a way to stop Thomas and save sodor. but there were others who are still alive somewhere... (Toby's bell rings) P.S the bell ringing is not a reference to TAMOC ok, it just came to mind while making the story.
A solid cover! The intro with Percy's failing engine and James' lines was nice. Percy's voice could use a tiny bit of work, but I really love James' voice! That transition was awesome! Thomas' voice worked nicely during it! And that laugh.... Normally, when people do the laugh, it just isn't scary enough, but you did it really well here, even adding James' panicked face a toot of a whistle from fear was really cool! Strangely, Xenophanes' vocals fit really well with Thomas and I loved that ending crash sequence! Just these little bits really elevate the cover beyond just a simple midi slap and move on. Hope to see a Prey 2.0 cover in the future! :D

Hearing a demented Thomas say, "You don't even know your fate"... it adds new layers. He found out what humans do to trains when they no longer want them. To put it lightly, Thomas snapped.
Good execution, just kinda needs a revisit to the board with thomas and percy, some voicelines, but other than that, the execution is pretty decent, and the idea is amazing (Also, a revisit to the board is mainly for percy and thomas' design)

Is it wrong i want a flight or fight sequel to this with Edward portraying Tails(keeping James and Percy ded in the background "Thomas" upfront him) and maybe having Gordon and Henry side by side Edward(like a three railway engines vs "Thomas" kind of cover)
The more I watch this video, the more I want an improved and/or playable version of this game. This cover is rough around the edges and could use some work, but in general, I like this idea. I think the only thing you shouldn't change is the exchanges James has between Percy and Thomas.

Once upon a time, sodor was not what is seemed… James wakes up noticing everyone is gone, he searches until he reaches the mainline meeting a injured Percy asking him for help, but James thinks he is just joking so he just speeds away not knowing that a evil crazy Thomas is chasing him… James tries to get away, but Thomas is fast as well. Later, James finally loses Thomas until he crashes into a boarded up mineshaft with failed brakes. James finally stops seeing Edward bruised and injured.
Thomas, or at least the thing impersonating him being able to catch up to and outpace James makes sense when you look at the TAB chase and see he was not only able to do that but also keep steady enough with James to where he was almost able to couple up to his train.
Yeah, CloneSonicBros made it much better! What's surprising is that he used the same voice clips from the first chromatic, and some how got it to work!

James heard another whistle, it was similar to Thomas (It couldn't be Thomas was that you?) the Engine stood beside him, James thought it was Thomas... but it wasn't. Suddenly ''Thomas'' spoke in an extremely scary voice, his eyes were glowing with red pupils.. James was scared, but he couldn't see him because of the shadows... So he left. James was soon scared to go see it. He saw that it wasn't him. Thomas had an extremely smiling and scary smile with red pulilas, and bloody tears. His number 1 looked like he was oozing with ''blood''. So he introduced himself. His name was Xenophanes he had possessed Thomas and killed his best friend Percy. Then he said: ''All of you will be my slaves...'' James had speed and managed to run away from that monster. It took a few minutes running until the monster slowed down, James thought he had won....but he was deceiving It was a trap! When he was looking back, suddenly a huge explosion noise took him until it is not known what happened to James, still it is not known that ''Thomas'' will do more horrible things, The only thing that appears is another name it was written ''Gordon'' indicating that.... Xenophanes will go after Gordon, and probably kill him. And that's how Thomas murdered James.
