Nice vid man, I love to see that you're trying to get more people into the mode, since it's so much fun than what it may look at first glance. These are some personal tips for the Pain Elemental, specially for the summoner loadout: General tips: 1. Don't use your shield and dash at the same time since those are your two defensive options and without them they leave you very opened and against a good slayer you are gonna get deleted really fast 2. Always try to be up in the sky and use platforms and walls as cover 3. Try to move sporadically in the air so the slayer can't hit you so easily Summoner loadout: 4. If you go with the summoner loadout, use the tactician and the buff minions upgrades, you will be able to spawn your allys more frequently and the demons will delete the slayer much faster so you won't have to engage that much, making you a great support demon (that's totally up to your plastyle, you can engage as much as you like) 5. Shieldguys: 5.1 The shieldguys are a double edged sword, if they catch the slayer distracted, they are gonna deal massive damage (specially with the damage buff). But the Slayer can farm them for ammo and health so keep an eye on your loot block when you summon them 5.2 Try placing them in the other side of the teleporter, especially if the slayer likes to spam them 5.3 If a low on health slayer is running from you and popping his shield to block your lost souls, place them right behind him so he will get blasted into oblivion 6. If you and your partner are low on health, use the healzone and if the Slayer spots you, block his attacks with your shield (you can also use your summons as meat shields, but I wouldn't reccommend it since once dead, they'll give resources to the slayer) 7. If your partner is dead and you're running away from a Slayer, place all your summons to block the hallway and give you time to flee and respawn your teamate 8. For the power upgrade (the one you get in round 4) is up to your preference I guess, but I always go with team heal if the healzone is unavailable, but the second choice would be instant revive for you partner if the slayer is leaving you for last 9. If the match drags out, eventually the slayer will realize you're supporting too much and he start prioritazing you so try to master your movement and defensive options so you can keep you alive I hope this helps whoever is interested in the multiplayer and playing as the meatball and make your learning process much quicker. it is october 2023, donald trump is facing almost 700 years in prison, and battlemode is still not dead yet, I wish more people played, I just got into it last month, and damn it's fun
I just got into it 2 weeks back. Not played games since Quake 2 so I've a lot to learn and practice. Get killed every time on BM playing slayer. Gonna change my mouse wheel sensitivity this weekend and change the default keys and see how it goes. Love the game but annoying when I can't win one round
I noticed the high newbie count recently and as a PS4Slayer, I'm alright with that. It's hard to aim so it gives the new guys a chance to get some punches in. It's also really great practice because on console battlemode physics are so fundamentally different from campaign, so I'm enjoying the sweaty slayer vavation.
@@Silverlol I do too, my weapon swapping is nasty, but I cant aim all the time. I turn auto aim off too. I dont mind though. Aiming with the six-axis would be useful.
