What a gorgeous car! Adam Wade on Rare Classic Cars and Automotive History has this car in black, with white interior and no vinyl top. These cars look sensational in any color.
1965 to 1971 was GM's best in looks and performance. It was GM's golden years. The Riviera and Toronado were some of GM's most radical yet classiest, head turning cars.
i had one exactly like that when i was 19...passed on all the muscle cars i looked at when the salesman pulled the tarp off of it...turns out it was a freak turning a 14:65 1/4 mile
My very first car back when I was 18 , a senior in highschool was a 1967 Riviera. It was Riviera Red, with a black vinyl top and an off white interior. Wish I still had it.
Bench seat, column shift Chevelle slayer. Cars simply don't get any more bad ass than old Riv-dogs. The 430 is probably one of the most underrated engines of all time. They are monsters.
Nice, those are awesome looking cars. An uncle of mine had a 67 Riviera back when they came out and he said it was the fastest car he ever owned and would burn rubber easily when tuned up. One night after drinking and feeling no pain he took it on the highway and buried the speedometer which went to 150mph he told us.
Hello Jeff, This model Rivera has become one of my Favorite looking cars from the 60’s. I’m not particularly a BUICK person but a few models I really think are awesome and this is one. This style and power winning combination.
!967 was a great year for Buick and it's 430 V-8...(for those of you born after 1970 I don't care what you think)...This 430 would wake a a drunken sailor on shore leave...Lot's of power and speed to the wheels...Luxury they way I like it, fast.
I'm in Love with this one Jeff! In my humble opinion this beats the Caddy Coupe Deville of that year and the I'm sure it was very modern and much faster then the Thunderbird of that year. Looks well worth $20K
Awesome. I picked up a 67 Riv in 2009 that has the same color combo of charcoal and black vinyl top. California car (original plates) with the smog stuff but all #'s matching, original interior with buckets and console w/shifter. Needs updated with engine gone through and a repaint w/new vinyl top. I wondered what this color might have looked like in new condition, now I know. One of my 1st projects when I finish working overseas. Debating on Edel heads/FI and OD trans. Thanks, great video!
The car is currently priced at $21,995. You can see more pictures of the car on their website at Fastlanecars. If you are seriously interested, you can contact them through the website or give them a call. Thanks for checking it out!
@RamblinAround - I bought a brand new 1986 Riviera T Type, the year they downsized it, it has a CRT screen that controlled everything, the front seats had something like 20+ adjustments, red suede/leather reversible inserts, BOSE stereo, it was nice. I saw it at at car show, when the screen came on it showed RIVIERA by BUICK, I was mesmerized by the technology, always like the newest gadgets.
my dad has a 67 Riviera, it's just a beautiful car he's letting it go for $12,000 new paint, original, plates, radio, wheels, leather seats, it's just amazing how everything is, and has owners manual from when it was bought and price tag
As a youngster, I always wondered why these classic cars are so expensive, but seeing that and the other interiors of other classics of the 60s-80s era, I must say, they look way more beautiful that a today's Rolls Royce for sure!! Thanks for sharing this beautiful built car!!! 😃🤗
My old neighbor, John F. Kennedy...no not the former President, had one of these. He was 70 when he bought this. I got to drive it in 1981, I was 16. Very, very cool car! His was white. This car is gorgeous!
When I was a kid my grandpa had an old Rivera . I'm not sure of the year, but she was wearing that classic "swamp" green black vinyl top. And if that wasn't awesome enough ,who can forget that oh so cool boat tail trunk lid juet WOW such a beautiful looking car!. Some of my fondest childhood memories are riding to church in that car . Sitting in the middle of its bench seat( remember those?) Everything about its interior waw art and screams ICONIC ! The woodgrain inlays of the dashboard, the gqges, instruments, but my fqvorite wqe always the clock. You couldn't help but feel like you were cooler than "The Fonz" climbing out of that car. Oh and you can bet sure as he'll did regardless of me and my goofy ear to ear grin.
Its amazing how any car can be so stylish year after year, I have a '96 supercharged Riviera, and it still gets complements from strangers off the street fairly often, even know its not old enough to be a classic, and not new enough to be the latest and greatest, and still with stock wheels and paint, just like it rolled off the showroom floor. Look at the '72 Riviera , when cars were at the height of ugliness the Riviera rolled off one of the most stylish cars of the decade. The list of options was always small, because most everything was standard, when Chevy was offering 6 different engines for the same car the Riv mostly offered one. a few years they gave buyers a choice, fast, or faster.
AUGH-AUGH-AUGH!😍 Now this car is in a class by itself. Given its pristine condition, it is more than worth that price. Hell, it's way more car than anything you could get for this same price today & 1000x more beautiful!
Gorgeous! the colour scheme suits it perfectly too. And great to see it still has the factory wheels - not those hideous oversized aftermarket things which are ruining so many American classics at the moment.
My fathers brother had a 67 Rivera in the 60's. He said it was the fastest car he ever owned. When tuned up it would burn rubber easily. One night when pissed up and feeling no pain on the highway late at night he buried the speedo needle well past it's reading.
It didn't take them long to change the hood design. I cracked my head open twice on those projections. I wonder how many Buick mechanics and mechanics in general buster their heads open on those things. In case anyone needs to know, the fuel pump is electric and in the gas tank. There is an access panel in the trunk so you don't have to drop the tank. You can use a Vega fuel pump from about the same year, they are the same. I had a 66, 67 and a 69. I liked the drum speedometer and the opposing windshield wipers.

That is one incredibly gorgeous Riviera 😍 😍

Seriously gorgeous car.❤
The best looking car of the 1960s and one of the best of the last fifty years
One of the most beautiful industrial designs in automotive industry
60's rivieras were beautiful
Are.....
@@davidludwig2755 Ok..whatever.
@@weirdshibainu Say it!! say it. Are.
Looks sharp! Love the one-year-only colour combination. Definitely the best looking car GM offered in 1967.
This Buick is absolutely beautiful.
I'm really so very impressed that a Riviera has Riviera badges on it!!omfg!!!!
i had one exactly like that when i was 19...passed on all the muscle cars i looked at when the salesman pulled the tarp off of it...turns out it was a freak turning a 14:65 1/4 mile

There is nothing like a charcoal gray car, the cleanest thing you ever want to see and this is my favorite year for the Riviera. Nice pick Jeff!!!!!

almost all buicks always have a sinister look that I love

Glad you like it....thanks for watching!
Thanks for following our project, we appreciate it. I used to have a 1977 Newport with a 400 4bbl in it.
I was 7 years old in 1967 this is a nice Buick Riviera.
Thanks for watching....good luck with your car too.
Great styling....sweet lines!
fantastic engine. They should have had them as an option on every Buick GS in the 60's
THIS BUICK RIVIERA BODY STYLE WAS SO BEAUTIFUL ! CLASSY !
Big, luxurious and speed. What a car! Very classy looking

They really are great cars. Thanks for taking a look at this one!
I agree, it really is a beauty. Thanks for taking a look!
GM car design at its best during the '60s. Love the hideaway headlights a lot of '60s and '70s cars had. Today's cars ban that standard.
I'm in Love with this one Jeff! In my humble opinion this beats the Caddy Coupe Deville of that year and the I'm sure it was very modern and much faster then the Thunderbird of that year. Looks well worth $20K

I believe they still have it. It's still listed on their website.
My uncle just bought one just like this. All original, but the paint is real bad. Beautiful car.

One of the most beautiful cars ever built
Too bad they don't make cars like that anymore. That is one sweet ride thanks for sharing.
@bisquik3006 This thing is pretty wicked and you're right, those 430's are real beasts. Thanks for taking a look at it!
@gene978 I'd have to agree with you on that one. This is one impressive machine. Thanks for checking it out!
@GeneralGHustler Yep, this one is pretty sweet. Thanks for having a look at it!
@805ROADKING Yeah, the speedo is definitely unusual. It's a pretty cool looking car though. Thanks for taking a look!

I owned a 1966 Buick Rivera for a brief time back in the day.
Beautiful Riviera
No, I'm afraid it sold quite a while ago. Thanks for checking it out!

I have a 1972...90% restored.
The 71 has the same body style as the 72. The poor 73 added those massive ugly bumpers...
I love those last Gen Rivieras. My friend is still daily driving his '98.
The 66-69 Rivs were the best followed by the boat-tails.
I owed a 67 Riviera , burgundy with wht top and I must say that when I cruised the streets people took notice, a very classy automobile
Delicious
@briefman49 I thought that was pretty cool too. Thanks for watching!
@cheesestr4wz Thanks for checking it out!
