    Sorry about your brother man. That’s pretty dope how you have that tower/building named after your brother and how you incorporated it in your city. 💯🔥

    Great job with the new diagon alley position. It makes it more interesting to explore your city with hidden areas. 😊👍

    I like how you have named some Mocs after loved ones. Makes them even more meaningful. Diagonal Alley looks great! Looking forward to more lights!

    Liking the Diagon Alley set up you have. Thanks for the tour. Have you ever thought of redoing your access panel? Make it out od LEGO, like those 16x16 mosaic panels, then you could attach tiles and whatnot to it to make the access look like a pond in the downtown

      I haven't thought of making it out of LEGO. Intriguing idea. Would help the look for sure. I'll need to take a look at that.

    Looks great Alex. If I could make a suggestion, the downtown core should be a busy area. Would be nice to see more mini figures walking around everywhere. 2x or 3x what you have in place now. I also agree lighting up your wholes city would take it to the next level of detail. Please do it.

    • @alexnunes
      @alexnunes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great suggestion. I'll start pushing more minifigs over. I think that would look great!

    • @essexboywolf1942
      @essexboywolf1942 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm definitely with the mini figs, make it look like rush hour at the monorail station etc... Also lighting would be amazing. The ultimate plan for my layout is getting electrics in the loft and getting lights in there!

    It would look great if you make that blue cover for manhole into urban park with paver. It will still allow you to access the downtown and if you make that park with flat tile, you don’t have to worry about lego pieces falling apart whenever you are try to access the area. Just a thought.

    I love it, you guys inspired me so much. I have my Lego town pretty much ready to display, but I need to get four 6 ft tables. I found them at Walmart and they were the lowest price, Amazon wanted double what Walmart was asking for the same tables. I just need to get them.

    Wow this is amazing. So fun to see vehicles mixed in from 90s set which I grew up on. How do you keep this all clean? Sadly I gave all my legos to my niece and nephews years ago and just now getting back into it. Thanks for sharing!

    • @alexnunes
      @alexnunes  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Cleaning is part of the routine, but luckily it's not too terrible in the basement. The sets in my office near the front door are a different story.

    That diagon alley is awesome. Probably gone steal your idea. But it seems you made the buildings smaller to fit better?
    We (wife and I) are totally fan of you city.
    We just started with our city and are looking for the road plates. Unfortunately Lego discarded the old ones and only have those new ones (60304). Have you tried them out already? And if so, what do you think of it?

    • @alexnunes
      @alexnunes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, you're more than welcome to use the idea. I am sure I am not the first either. I have purchased the new roads, but for other projects, not for roads. I have seen some pretty nice layouts with the new ones, but I won't be switching anytime soon.
