@nefarious where do you get this high quality of footage from?
It's not as simple as where I get it, but that still does matter. I'm able to enhance the footage that I get with a tool called an unsharp mask. I also color grade my footage so it looks better. There are plugins that also enhance footage as well, but I don't use them. But before you do any of that, you need to make sure that when you get footage from youtube that it looks like it was shot in high-quality resolution. Usually, channels like ESPN, NBA on ESPN, and NBA on TNT put out that kind of quality. They are usually videos that say "1080p HD" or higher when you click on the settings button in the corner. I say "usually" because sometimes there are rare times where 720p videos are usable. Official NBA team channels also do mini-movie series where they put out high-quality footage. Channels like NBA and house of highlights usually don't put out much stuff with high-quality resolution. A lot of this is just an eye-test. It's not easy to get because most NBA footage is put out at 720p.
