From what I can see, you need better preparation and remove fear from your mind, but always go with your instincts. Try to ask fewer questions, and blend in as much as you can. Remove fear, and you will be fine. You are doing fine, and you will get better with time.

That border exit felt like an animation fantasy movie especially at 16:57 when the camera captures storm clouds on Kenya side of the border and sun exactly on a straight line on the Uganda side. Hope you still have your Safaricom SIM.

There are two observations I'll advise you to consider..
*Please plan and stick to your schedule in your travels. Don't fall for sideshows.(side-plans).
*Don't trust everyone you meet on the road..

Certainly not a issue in Zim, Botswana or Mozambique where I travel widely. Nothing has ever happened to me
People in villages are still real Africans, kind and generous, welcoming to strangers

You need to cut out the middle men in your transactions.

The name: Boss boda originated from Busia.
You have to be more careful...don't just leave the bike outside with your luggage like that go in with it...ride safe in uganda
Why show us that bloodied hand Baide? Otherwise, the name Boda Boda originated from Busia and it initially involved bicyles offering taxi services to people heading to the border crossing so they would call out "Border. Border!" and just like that it became the name of the bicycle taxis and when they were replaced by bikes, the name was retained.
Such a long route for no good reason! From Eldoret, you could have gone straight to Bungoma and then to Malaba to cross into Uganda. Busia, on the other hand, would have been much closer if you were to take Kisumu route....
You missed Kericho, but Kapsabet and Nandi didn't disappoint either. Same vibes. Busia is such a pathetic town. I don't know what the county and National governments are doing. Travel safely.

never underestimate the kindness of strangers Ebaide. Those estrangers in Nandi county welcomed you without reservations and even set you up with the guys at the border. Equally, when in africa, understand corruption, its inevitable. I have followed you for a while now, but i think once you leave uganda, everything goes south though you're going north, pun unintended. I am a Kenyan who can say that once you go past uganda you are in dangerous territory. Central africa is a royal mess.

Eldoret has never produced any world champion. Most of Kenya's world champions are from the counties of Nandi and Elgeiyo Marakwet. It's only that most of the athletes live in Eldoret.
