I did ask JD the mechanic if Nick had a plan in place to pass the torch when the time comes but he didn't say ... I do hope this place lives on for generations to come . It's not only a cool collection of motorcycles but also a part of our countries history .
Being self taught in Nick's time meant something else before the internet. He knows more than you ever will and will still admit that he doesn't know but knows how to find out. He's a legend for sure.

Been there a few times when I lived in NJ nick was a great help with my 65 pan. He got to know me and let me loose in all of his buildings. Was awesome like 20 years ago .
Once you visit Nick’s place it’s an experience that stays with you . I’ve been to a lot of bike shops & have seen a good many private collections & nothing could compare to Nick’s .

I needed a small pilot light lens for my pan he said follow me went to a different building up stairs was a huge row of 100s of files like a library he walked over opened one bin in the middle and there it was blew me away a million parts and he knew where it was . Also he looks exactly the same as he did 25 years ago been longer than I thought .
It would take years to see everything Nick has to offer … luckily it’s a place you never get tired of visiting 🤩 Thanks for watching Raymond , I hope you’ll come back for more 🙏🏻
As always amazing video , love that place , if you r ever doing a rebuild and you r from the area its well worth the visit , its a lesson in time and history there , and any nut bolt or piece you need its there for the most part , nick knows were (even though it looks to be chaos) anything is in that entire place , and if you have only been there once he will remember you without a doubt.

There are some real gems there, total value in the millions. They are at risk of disaster jammed into that old building, probably without fire protection or even insurance. A new generation of collectors needs to descend on Nick with truckloads of cash and rescue these amazing machines. I'm sure there are a few he would refuse to sell, I know the feeling.
Nick has been around a long time , he’s no fool … I’m sure he’s fully insured against the unthinkable happening to his incredible collection . I’ve never spoken to him about selling any of the bikes in the “museum” but I have to believe he’s been approached more times than he can count by those waving a fistful of cash in his face .
Only buy from nick known him for years great guy remember to take old part with u when u need something opens his whole property to me and friends his mechanics great guys always to lend an ear to problems his museum is amazing great guy great friend
It’s actually a bike shop , they sell parts & service bikes . They do have some bikes for sale but none of the bikes upstairs are for sale as far as I know … I guess you could say it is a museum.

If you're able to visit Nick's shop I'd highly recommend you do . While I do my best to show the bikes , the video definitely does not do them justice.

A real time capsule .I had a neighbor that built trikes made with keg gas tanks and a casket in the back . Incredible design back in the 70's.
Things were so much cooler in those days as far as I'm concerned .
