It's testament to those old LM cars how popular they still are compared to the modern things. People prefer to watch those and hear them over modern stuff.
Travis I'm not sure if you are aware but with the drivers listed on the side of the cock pit, the top name is that of Australian driver Vern Schuppan. Small detail but nice to know.

Perfect timing too whilst we've been enjoying Le Mans 2021 weekend. I've got a brace of Slot-It Ford GT40s ........and I'm once again sorely tempted .... lol
I have a couple by Scalextric that they always listed as being 962's; however looking closely at them and this and pictures of the real thing I'm pretty sure they are in fact 956's.
I don't own a slot.it car but use their parts in a lot of my builds, and whilst I think they are expensive they are good quality. Great review, would be interesting to see how it performs without a magnet stock.
@@SlotCar2021 I have one Porsche from Revo. It's nice, but Slot.it and NSR are to me more worth the money. Slot.it right out of the box heads above the other companies. 99% of the time I don't even have to replace the tires.
LOVE IT! I especially try and collect all of Derek Bell's and Al Holbert's cars. Slot.it has Derek Bell driving the car.

More than worth the money! I felt the same way at first, now they are my first choice to purchase.
