Something that bugs me about the anime is wondering how Hyakkimare used his prosthetic arms to grasp and hold things. I can't figure out how he moved and manipulated his fingers since his prosthesis were just elaborate wooden ones since the story takes place in the warring states era of Japan thus there was no way they could've been like mechanical / bionic since the technology of that time as far as I know wouldn't allow for something so sleek in design and fluid in motion as Hyakkimaru's prosthetic hands to have any kind of mechanical motor without being either large and impractical for use in an artificial limb or not having the same level of normal dexterity as a real hand. In the anime there is even a moment when Hyakkimaru wields his normal katana in battle instead of the hidden wakizashi blades in his prosthetic arms without issue with holding it or his forearms coming off or even keeping his grip on it. I'm just assuming that his soul still had those parts and he used the souls of his arms to move his hands as if they were real because that is the only thing I can think of that sort of makes sense in the context since being blind from birth allowed him to "see" the fire of the souls of anyone or anything that he "looked" at plus when ever he reclaimed a part of his body it didn't just appear it grew back like it was matching his soul since he was a newborn less that a minute old when his body was taken yet his parts grew to match his current age instantly instead of being as they were when they were taken.
