The one who voice acted as the long dark-haired girl, compared to Lina's and the blue-skinned dude's voice actors, is the worst examples of voice acting I've ever seen. And i can't voice act to save me life!
The problem is that Sylphiel is supposed to be a soft-spoken person, which I guess the voice actress just couldn't translate very well into actions scenes such as this. It's not quite as bad during ordinary dialogue, but I've always found it very out of place in situations such as this.

The dub and sub are near identical. The dub translations are almost word for word. In fact in one ep where the girls dress as sailor moon characters, they start singing. Then Lina says "Now in Japanese!" and it switches to Japanese.

The fear that came to Lina's eyes when the Sword of Light absorbed what's considered one of her strongest spells Dragon Slave.

Gourry has a well capacity exceeding Lina's own. He could fire off Dragon Slaves willy-nilly, if he was capable of remembering the incantation.
