Why we have to deny ourselves
We are as believers already a new self, we already deny ourselves at Salvation, the old self die and a newself a life.
To deny our self mean to deny from our self righteousness.
To deny ourselves we need Grace, we have to come to Jesus for Salvation. No one can be true disciples and followers of Jesus without Grace of God.
Where Jesus go in this verse, Jesus going to die and crucified on the cross. So we deny ourselves by deny from self-righteous and come to the Grace of God.
And Grace of God will teach you say No to sin
