Love Lalah, it’s called polyphonic singing and while she’s not the only one that can do it it is quite difficult, she’s singing an undertone pitch with an overtone she can control at will. If you never have, do a TH-cam search of “advanced polyphonic singing” you’ll be in for a real treat.

So far it's found in 3 separate cultures and as much as she's traveled to Africa, wouldn't be surprised if she learned it from someone in the Xhosa tribe in South Africa, also can be found in Mongolian culture and Eskimo women were known for it but it was banned by Christians who said it sounded satanic
