First Look Chefs Choice Model 110 Knife Sharpener.
This knife sharpener is probably the most disappointing sharpener that I own.....and I have around 25 different ones now. Cant say that this is a big loss as I bought it from a caterer at a yard sale for only $1.

Chef's choice makes a sharpener for 15°, 20°, and combination bevel honing. Check their web site. If you take the cover off the one you just purchased I think you'll find that it's not designed the way you think. The blade hits the side of the wheel. The ceramic honers vibrate anyway it's good to clean them after some use. If you wanna sell that one I've had the same model since the early 80's and the motor is making noise. I'll give you $10.

I just inherited one , same exact model and it works great. I sharpend an expensive chef knife made in Germany and this sharpener works great. Its not meant to sharpen Chinese dollar store garbage or hunting knives, that's why they call this knife sharper "Chefs Choice" , its for Cook's.

This is an amazing sharpener. This one is old and not for specialty shaped knives with those shaped knives. I have one and for sharp knives it’s bad ass

You paid 1$ for a 150$ sharpener that has 4 stars on Amazon and that can do a great job on most knives. I think that's a solid win. If you re-watch the video you will notice that you are being very negative. A review should be neutral in my opinion. The information you give is not wrong so thank you for that.

Having sharpened over 1000 kives over the last 2 years I can honestly say that this tool a huge disappointment. Yup, my Wicked Edge is the king.

I have a Lansky set for ~fine sharpening but I have about 40 serrated steak knives that are finished and I want to grind down to a smooth edge. I bought a new one years ago $80. Hardly ever used it because it never got a knife sharp. Dug it out today and tried to sharpen a standard butcher knife. Same conclusion as I had years ago, its a P.O.S. will not sharpen knives. The person who made this video was right, it dont work.

The outcome was a surprise, the Chefs Choice sharpener was a disaster, Don't buy this thing.

Interesting that you bought it at a garage sale for almost nothing. Maybe the person selling it abused the snot out of it and knew it had no value left. So you acknowledge you don't know the device's providence but you review it for performance like it's a new one? How is that fair? Review a like-new one for us to know anything useful about it. And why do it with such a cheap knife? This is a waste of everyone's time but yours, as you hope to get paid for this drivel.
