I have all the cards already, but I like to draft. I'll buy boxes and draft them with my less financially stable friends and keep the cool stuff, and let them have whatever I don't want.
Some are already going up in value. Just shop around for pre orders. I picked up a Hermit Druid for $15 Cad, which was cheaper than Starcity games, Card Kingdom, TCG Player. Some will crash and some will rise the way it always is.
Man oh man am I hoping the price for Craterhoof behemoth drops. My Kudo, King of Bears token deck is in serious need a victory button. Not every token deck can be as strong as Krenko, Mob Boss and generate it's own wincon over time.
I much prefer Clavileño over Edgar as my Vampire based commander. There are so many double token, double death trigger, and even a populate effect, so many 4/3's. Plus built-in draw from their deaths.
Sadly, I do not see my cracking any packs outside a draft environment. I already own most of the desired reprints. $ingle$ for me…. …or perhaps a Nerds Whatnot Event!
hermit druid.... mustn't you REVEAL all cards from the top of your library, regardless of what is revealved? Wouldn't that mean you HAVE TO STOP after the first basic land card is revealed?
Haven't watched any videos in a while but y'all used to be sponsored by tcgplayer. Now you are sponsored by card kingdom, I assume they simply pay more money, get that bread. Love the channel just don't watch much!
The cost of slow lands is that they can't fix your mana turn 1 and only fix your turn 2 if you didn't want to (or could) make a turn 1 play (e.g. skullclamp, Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Ozolith etc.). So you can't rely on them to, say, cast your green 1-drop (birds, elves etc.). So it's a deckbuilding considereation. Like, how many untapped green sources do I have in the deck? Can I add another colorless utility land? Can I "afford" another tapped MDFC or should I straight up just add anohter forest? Or do I simply give up on green 1-drops and just go for colorless 1-drops and concentrate to ramp turn 2 with nature's lore etc. I know that this is incredibly subtile and pedantic, but these lands ARE on the expensive side and you can get a whole lot of other conditionally untapped duals for less money. People keep clowning on the oddyssey-filter lands but to me they're essnetially the same: Slightlyy rubbish turn 1/2 but afterwards just excellent. Untapped, fix you mana. (downside you can't do double mono, but upside you can filter colorless into color) -> But they cost like 50 cents and so many people just ignore them. Undergrowth Stadium for almost the same price (maybe a TAD more expensive) is just better at being a dual land, if your EDH nights are 3+ players all the time. And Overgrown Tomb, is not much more expensive either! So I think some of the inistrad slow-lands are slightly overpriced considering some of the alternatives (pay a buck or two more, you already get a shock land, pay only 50 cents you get something of equivalent uasbility -> filterlands, painlands etc.) It's not like you shouldn't play every single one of these anyway, if you play a two-colored deck. I know I do and the inistrad slow-lands make it into almost any of my casual decks. But my point is, when you're building a collection and you're trying to stock up on untapped duals that will serve you well over the years, the og painlands , the odyssey style filter lands and the "if you control a [insert basic land type]"-sytle check-lands (NOT the ones asking for 2 or more basic lands in play, skip) are your first address for seriously cheap untapped duals. THEN you go looking for more expensive lands and here, it kind of depends what is cheap at the time, because of reprints. So yeah, absolutely pick these slow-lands up when they drop further in price (currently, at least in europe, a bit too pricey in my opinion.) Check the webpage "mana the gathering" to see, which duals are available in your colors. It's a very useful tool. I'm also sure moxfield has land-packages for every color-combination.
Vanquish the horde is so much better than the way too overhyped blasphemous edict. Edicts cost reduction is unflexible and unreliable. I had so many games where edict was useless unless it was very late game
Avoiding most of the sets this year. Only gonna pick up singles and save up for. Spiderman hopefully. My dream is to crack a case of 6 collector booster boxes of spiderman. Maybe just save and buy the coolest versions of all the cards I want. Idk.
No desire to crack packs, but I'll pick up some of the more expensive reprints when they crash.
Keep an eye out! 👀
This is the way , ima get the hoof and the meathook

I love saving my realmoneyladollarwhateverblahblahblah too!
We worked hard for those!
Oh man. The play into the Moxfield ad was BOMB.
Always serving up 🔥 🔥 🔥
2:47 me Too Mia! Glad to see people acknowledging how great Vanq is.

It will be interesting to see how draft will go for this set
Incredibly happy to see Hermit Druid re-print. I have several copies as a long time player, but I like modern borders for my commander decks.
The best part about moxfield is the scary fall searching. I get to find any card I want, whereas redacted requires you to know the card names already
Archidekt has scryfall dragndrop
The meat hook Massacre retro poster theme card is calling to me. IT LOOKS SO COOL!
Ya’ll need to take a look at and spec on reluctant role model
Double feature still the best Meathook massacre
Hey were you on an episode of NCIS season 11 episode 16
Love your stream. 🎉
Craterhood literally had a reprint in 2023 and 2020.
draft night is gonna be crazy for this set
Sadly, I do not see my cracking any packs outside a draft environment. I already own most of the desired reprints. $ingle$ for me….

I wish there was more love to the Werewolves 😢
Yoinking like 3 craterhoof behomoths ty
So Card Kingdom does doubles and triples, but do they do triple doubles?
But where is relentless dead! I need that reprint. €11 is expensive 😢
I just bought a tablet too!
Sadly Edgar will only be available in collector boosters from what I've heard and seen
He will be in regular set in multiple arts from what I’ve heard
The movie poster version and the serialized ones are only in collector boosters
Okay so multicolor lands are not always dual lands
hermit druid.... mustn't you REVEAL all cards from the top of your library, regardless of what is revealved? Wouldn't that mean you HAVE TO STOP after the first basic land card is revealed?
That's why you don't put any basics in your deck.

What is infinite mana pack wars
Hermit Druid + Songs of the Damned
Yeah... To buy singles. Don't give in to cracking packs. Let's move to the next set, please.
I need a tablet, also I was kinda disappointed in this set. Maybe just cause I have nost the cards?
Except Edgar, I'm here for Edgar

Yes but sacrifice triggers are super important. Especially when playing with Tergrid or IT That Betrays. Edict also gets around indestructible

i havent been less excited for a set since bloomborrow. okay, tbh thats not that long lol
I’m so upset you guys are talking about Hullbreaker Horror. Worst card ever
Hate the emrakul reprint. Shouldn't have been reprinted, it should have been banned.
