Hi Scott, l really enjoyed this one, no surprise 🙂 lm really drawn to sea scapes, l guess because they are in front of me all day, every day. The light changes in front of your eyes, and l see that in your paintings 👍 hope you are all well, especially young Henry 😊 take care Alioban
Hi Alison! Thanks! Yes I agree! So many different colours and moods! I would love a studio overlooking the ocean! I would be painting all day! All well thanks! Henry is all good! Cheers Scott
Missing your videos! I definitely get value from them. I put my paint away for a few months but I came on looking for your video of late, and saw you’ve been otherwise engaged as well. Hope to see your work again soon, meanwhile, I’m viewing and reviewing these. Thanks!
WOW! I WANT THAT ON MY WALL!! AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL! 😍😍❤❤ very beautiful and so kind you give time for me to give your perception in my work too.thank you my friend.
This is wonderful Scott. I always learn watching you create seascapes. The white is so effective, I've never left that much white in a painting. Time to experiment. Thank you Scott, cheers.
I love this Scott. The light on the ocean makes an amazing simple focal point. That mixture of burnt umber and cobalt turquoise is perfect. I have to watch it all over again now. Thank you.
Thanks Sue! Yes it was not too bad in the end! They must have stopped using the hammer drill! lol! Yes the birds I hardly notice until I edit the videos!
I was told this week by one of the big art supply stores in Adelaide that Arches aren’t producing Rives paper anymore. She gave other examples of companies that were discontinuing certain paper products. 😥
Maybe I should buy up big over the next few months!! That would be sad for me! But there are other papers out there that are lovely! Thanks for the heads up Joy!
I am developing this style as well and have found that framing over the top of what I’ve painted often creates a better view than what is seen without a frame. You can move the frame around to create a different Relationships between the elements.
@@ScottSwinson I tried it on a long thin sheet. Not bad. But I think I could have put my sky a bit lower taking into account the paper was long and then. Fun using salt and runs.
Hi Scott, I like the light in this painting. Very nice!! Good to see, that you can remove spots you don´t want, wiping them away. Could you make a tutorial where you show more of those tricks? Sometimes I have parts in my paintings I don't like and then I don't trust to change it. Maybe it is possible to wash the cooler away..but how?
Winsor and Newton artist quality paints. The artwork is available on my website www.Scott swinson.com if you were asking about that. Hard to work out with google translate. 👍👍

Hi David! Yes a mat the right size is always handy! Or even smaller to see if you want to crop it a bit! Happy painting mate.
Thank you. I really like the colours and the white just as much. I've never tried a painting with a high horizon yet!
Hope it went well for you Gretel!
