      I totally agree...I say it all the time...I WILL ALWAYS LOVE SAM PITTMAN...even if he never wins another game as head coach..I am also very proud to say that I was calling for Pittman when they hired Morris and again the day he got fired..I've known Pittman was our man since he left for Georgia..JS

      I hope we don't go 0-12, though, unless Vanderbilt does first!

    As an Arkansas fan (fully admitting this is the first time watching y’all because you interviewed Sam)…the matchups I’m not willing to give up are as follows:
    1) LSU (Das Boot!)
    2) Ole Miss (old rivalry ties there)
    3) Texas (also old rivalry ties)
    PS: NOT MISSOURI! We all hate this fake “rivalry”
    PSS: Erin, I appreciate the fan girling over Sam. I cried when he was hired because I KNEW he was perfect. I also laughed at all the naysayers. Arkansas is a school that has to have a coach that “gets it” to be good. And Sam gets it probably better than anyone ever has besides Frank Broyles. Sam Pittman for President!

    Dawg fan here and just wanted to say how enjoyable it is to watch the hogs play. Even in the game against Georgia, KJ was just flat out fun to watch especially when he decides to run the ball. For the first time I felt bad for the opposing QB because a beautiful run by KJ was called back because of a penalty and all I could think of was "this team can't catch a break".
    Sam reminds me of my grandpa, deacon in the church and the nicest guy one would ever want to meet. He is grounded in solid moral principles and will go far. I can't wait to see how the hogs perform this year.

    If Sam can get a recruit to campus the chances are very good they will want to play for the Hogs and him. Super person.

    my team is arkansas and if i had to pick three teams i'd want LSU Arkansas boot game protected, Arkansas ole miss and Arkansas Texas has to be a thing. thats our three biggeest rivalrys from an Arkansas fan perspective. the texas a and m could also be in there even though arkansas beat them for the first time in years this past season its always a tight close nit game. most fans want that game home and home and not a jerrys world though

    Id think in the 3/6 model, each school should submit their 3 teams, make list known and consensus games (both Schools added each other) then go from there.

    Alabama just is better at cheating then everyone else. Like the Patriots and Yankees. The NIL effects the depth chart at Alabama and Saben knows that. Players gonna wanna get paid instead of riding the pine. I’m a Razorbacks fan and have wondered why the state of Arkansas and the U of A have some of the richest companies and Donors that there should be no problem too be a top 10 team in Football every year. College will and has become bigger version of the NFL. When will players start being 1 and done

    • @codyhoney9101
      @codyhoney9101 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We don't rate people on potential, we rate them on success, no one has done what Saban has done and there are a lot of people that have failed at LSU and Bama.

  • @drizzle452
    @drizzle452 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    “Saban wants things level, because he’s still gonna probably kick everybody’s ass?” Because that’s exactly what he was doing at Michigan State? That’s what he was doing when you couldn’t pay players more with the dolphins? Hilarious! Nick doesn’t care at all about parity and doesn’t want anyone to have his level talent -he’s lobbying. He’s also warning you about how lob-sided it can get, and that he’s gonna do it better.
    Saban is a great coach and I hope he slaps Jimbo around (Jimbo is a hack coach)…but let’s not be naive. Saban was a good coach when he wasn’t in the SEC. He went to the SEC bc that was the bag conference and NO ONE can cry foul because there is a button of mutually assured destruction on anyone snitches…Kiffin sucked at USC because their hands were tied to pay players. He still sucks, but at least he’s getting boosters to get him more talent. Brian Kelly also knew damn well that ND was way too nerdy to get the talent he wanted.

    Thank God Erin is on the show to check Braden calling for socialism as a form of parity for him. “Alabama should do less” because it’s not fair that they win all the time. 🙄 Good gravy.

    • @440Sports
      @440Sports  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not at all what I am saying (Braden), but that is what Nick Saban is saying. The questions is IF we want parity, then it needs to function more like the NFL were resources are equal, limited and spread out (jokingly, socialist, like the NFL). If we don't care about parity or the health of the sport and want the lack of balance to continue, then we will leave it as is. It sounds like Saban wants restrictions. 🤷🏼‍♂

    • @mlwebs
      @mlwebs 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@440Sports Coach Saban wants parity because then it comes down to coaching and thoroughness of the program. Saban wins that hands down. Parity means a set of guidelines. Not one school having “collectives” so that every player gets paid. That starts to be A&M offering financial minimum “guarantees” during recruiting because they don’t want to have to straight out recruit the Alabama, Clemson, and OSU’s of the world. My understanding of NIL is those who will help an entity sell a product, are who NIL was built for. Not the 35th string DB getting a minimum because boosters are throwing money in a collective.

    Let's be real here, if talent was equal across college football, championships would be spread widely across the country. Alabama might never win another regardless of who's coaching them. Do you think for one moment that Sam Pittman with Bama's roster of talent wouldn't whip Bamas ass? The true measure of a coach is one with does more with less. How good was Nick before talent loaded LSU and talent loaded Bama? Remember, he did coach in the big 10 and won nothing and was a bust at the Miami Dauphins. I have nothing against the man, but to say he is the best ever. Well, he might be, we will never really know!
