In the desrciption it says that Surfer Joe was the B side to Wipeout but actually the other way around . Surfer Joe was the A side and Wipeout was the B side . Nevertheless they are both great songs and bring back a lot of great memories . I was just 13 when they came out in 1963 and has been surfing for just a year . The first place I ever surfed was Huntington beach . California surf was great back the then .
I was 5 when this came out and I remember crying, my aunt asked me what was wrong and I said poor Joe, he drowned now he's going be eaten by sharks, she just hugged me and said no Joe's alive it's just a song, he's ok and she started wiping my tears, grandma came out to see why I was crying and auntie told her so, grandma took me in the house and said if you stop crying you can have an ice cream, those tears dried up real quick lol
