I didn't get why this drama didn't get high ratings in korea. This drama is so damn beautifully made. I felt like I am watching a movie in every episode. It ended for quite some time now and I am still watching it for the nth time :) I hope for a romcom for the both of them together as leads. This drama is so painful yet beautiful to watch

Many ppl working with her complimented her personality and her attitude. for example, Kim soo hyun complimented her personality tones of times. He said she is very bright, pure and positive person even if she is a celebrity she said hello to everyone first. and he said She is caring to every single staff and extra actors too and always smile that's why he respect her a lot. at the drama shooting site, everyone were addicted to her becuz of her bright personality. and yoo yeon suk who work on the movie with her said her personality is more beautiful than her looks and she is honest girl not to be conscious of public eyes but express whatever she want but kind at the same time. and he said she is like vitamin to everyone she laugh at every single thing it brightened Movie shooting site even if staff and actors were tired they could smiled becuz there is suzy. and Lee seung gi who was boyfriend of yoona said suzy is the least picky actress He've ever worked with and dont pretend but naively honest person. He said the more you know about her, you would know how good person she is. even if her scene was over and its not her shooting day, she appeared at shooting site and stood there to communicate with staff. haha who appears on running man even said suzy is really good girl. even if she is very popular and famous she is still innocent and humble. every staffs working with her praised her humble, hard working attitude and her beautiful mind. Many staffs revealed that suzy is very rare celeb that there aren't any bad things about her. Even she was picked the best cf star by staff among every celebs who staffs wanna work with the most. And eric nam picked suzy that is most comfortable and kind celeb to interveiw with when he was interveiwer. Honestly I've never seen idols like suzy complimented by every staff and actors(actress) working with them. This is why she is loved by many ppl. and she earned much money while she lacks of sleeps and worked hard for many years, but she shared those income with other miss a members without ANY complaints. If I was her, I would sue the comapany JYP. Even if she earned much money she never spent those income buying luxury goods but she lavish money on donating them to an orphanage or a charity.
I am surprised when I heard that this drama is not popular in Korea. Gosh, this is such a beautiful drama. It's sad but beautiful. I am from the UK and I love this. I have an Indonesian friend and she said that this drama is loved in Indonesia too. What's wrong with you Koreans? The storyline is good, and the actors are not only beautiful, they are talented too.
It’s just that it was aired last 2016 wherein a lot of iconic kdramas was released too in that year like scarlet heart,goblin,dots,W and many more but this drama was indeed a masterpiece 💯
I think at the time, it was summer time when UF aired, so people didn’t vibe with it- plus some people weren’t totally ready for the sad genre. But a lot of Korean viewers at the time watched UF too, during the re-airing time after watching W live. So I’d say it was really appreciated still ❤️ A lot of Korean people say that it would have hit it off harder if it came out during the winter.

I like her acting just fine. When I watched While You Were Sleeping I took it as her character is quirky, so her responses to things are weird, and over the top. That's not bad acting, that's a goofy personality. Her character was really fun. I had never seen Suzy in anything or heard her sing, so I had nothing to compare it to. Maybe I would judge her acting a little more strictly if I knew Korean or if I'd seen more Korean shows, but I enjoyed her acting in While You Were Sleeping, and that's what matters :)

Those who tried to bring her down will never succeed because even the people behind the cameras knows just how kind hearted Suzy is. I don’t have a single doubt regarding her attitude and personality. Most especially when a back up dancer posted on SNS sharing his cute interaction with Suzy, he stated that he bumped into her in the hallway and he really wanted to greet her but couldn’t bring himself to do so.. Instead of him greeting her first, Suzy smiled and greeted him first, and also greeted the other dancers that he’s with. He was utterly shocked by this because according to him, it’s not normal for idols to greet back up dancers. Most especially when they aren’t professionals. Suzy was the *only one* to greet him and the other back up dancers, the other idols who were in attendance just walked past them. They were in awe and admired Suzy for not acting like a top star and some superior artist because C'MON she has all rights to act one.. The girl’s the Nation's First Love, a CF Queen, earns billions of won per CF, owns a billion won building in Gangnam etc.
A fan shared online that during Gu Family Book, Suzy brought a hot drink and a blanket to a staff who was being soaked by the rain at that time.. she didn’t care even if she was being soaked by the rain, too. A rookie actress posted a selca of them together on IG and captioned it by saying that out of all the actors she got the chance to work with, Suzy was the one who took care of her the most.. she gave her a hot pack while saying, “Unnie, this one’s hot~” when she felt cold during UF’s filming.
In Invicible Youth 2, they helped the elders making kimchi and Suzy still helped making them even though the cameras already stopped rolling, she genuinely wanted to help. Not just for the cameras.. 🤷♀️ Plus, she even massaged the grandmas after they were done because they felt exhausted.
She said in Real Miss A that she prefers a night schedule over a morning one but she’s also worried about the fans who will wait for her. So considerate.. 🥺
Suzy has been donating huge amounts of money to different organizations, hospitals, orphanages etc to help those in need. And it’s admirable how her respective company (during the time of donation) always gets perplexed whenever an article about her donating pops up because they absolutely had no idea about it. She also always donates under her parent’s names to avoid the good deed being publicized.. and she even politely asked the organizations she donated to, to keep mum about the donation. Yet they couldn’t help but reveal it because they want people to know just how good of a person she is. And can I just say that amongst all of the donations she has done, my favorite one is when she donated the stuffed toys which were given to her by fans to an orphanage? She even posted on IG first just to ask for her fans’ permission and understanding, expressing that she thinks the kids needs it more than her.
Haha said that even though Suzy is already a big celebrity, she was still shocked and exclaimed, “Omo that’s me!” after seeing one of her CF’s being displayed on the streets while they were in a car.
This is the first ever drama that made me cry like hell until my eyes got swollen for atleast 1 week to recover . Honestly I have watch many sad drama such as goblin and yes of course I'm crying but, this drama got another level of sadness . I even stayed up whole night to finish this even though I know this gonna be a heartbreaking ending . I even feed my cat with teary eyes that morning . At first, I read many comment that say ' i cry every episode ' and I think they just overrated . But now , i'm one of them :/

+Celine Rose Im a girl too. She is my only one female bias. She has the most honest smile not looks fake to me. In korea she has many female fans even than male fans. Boys usually easily change their fav girl group but female fans are more loyal this is why suzy can keep her popularity even if she date someone.

I have a feeling that it'll do well. Previews and OST video definitely have me interested! As far as largest audience is concerned, we'll just have to wait and see. It's going up against Doctors with Park Shin Hye and that one's been REALLY good so far! ;-)
I'm sorry, I did not mean it was going up against her drama directly. I meant that they were both airing in July and would be in competition for "largest audience". (Though Doctors will have a 3 week head start on Uncontrollably Fond once it begins.) As a relative newcomer to K-Dramas (just started watching in Jan. of this year), Doctors is my first introduction to PSH and Uncontrollably Fond will be my first introduction to Suzy as an actress. (I enjoy Miss A's music, so she's not unknown to me.) ;-)

In the last episode there are so many sad scenes but one of the saddest would've been with Kim and his mother from her arrival to her cooking his favourite dish and then in the middle of eating the dish; he remembers that she's his mum. So many tears shed. So nice too when he realized that Suzy did not have images of the two of them so he takes various selfies and it seems all is restored in their world until he falls asleep on Suzy's shoulder.
Suzy's hardships: Suzy had signs of depression during Gu Family Book because of her co-stars, they told Suzy that she’s too young which is the reason why she can’t understand different matters but they also expect her to act like an adult. She felt frustrated but she just held it in until she couldn’t. She bursted out into tears during their presscon. She also revealed that while she was laughing with a friend, she suddenly bursted out into tears. That one scene of her in this drama where she went from laughing and then suddenly bursting out to tears actually happened to her in real life.
When she was still a rookie, she got offered to star in “Dream High” which will kick start off her acting career. She didn’t want to do it because her only dream was to become a singer. She never dreamed of becoming an actress. And now, her boss is forcing her do act in a drama without prior acting lessons. It put such a heavy toll on her, so much so that it caused her to shed tears in her manager’s car.
She closely follows articles about her and all the comments being made about her. She saw people calling her a slut for dating Lee Min Ho. She most prolly have seen shippers of her boyfriend (now ex) and other actresses make distasteful comments about her. Calling her easy to get, a slut, a whore.. Some shamed her for staying in a a hotel with him. Insinuating that she did “the d*rty” with him in that hotel.. Disregarding the fact or possibly NOT even knowing the fact that they were accompanied by his mom and sister.. And they were even with their managers! A few of them even accused her of using him to gain popularity. Most did not believe the relationship, and mocked her for being the only one talking about the relationship publicly.. Completely ignoring the fact that it his agency was the first one to confirm the relationship.

I just finished watching this drama today. I didn’t tear, but i admit its very sad drama. Also love Suzy’s and Woobin’s acting. Please watch this drama if you have not, it’s really worth the watch, (even though it’s not really well received) i personally think this drama deserves an award.
As far as I could see only Suzy received an award for AAA Best Star Award 2016. Ironically KWB's girlfriend Shin Mina was nominated for the same award but lost out to Suzy. Shin mina acted in Oh My Venus, she was really good; but I feel Suzy deserved it.

Most especially when a back up dancer posted on SNS sharing his cute interaction with Suzy, he stated that he bumped into her in the hallway and he really wanted to greet her but couldn’t bring himself to do so.. This is the first ever drama that made me cry like hell until my eyes got swollen for atleast 1 week to recover . Honestly I have watch many sad drama such as goblin and yes of course I'm crying but, this drama got another level of sadness . I even stayed up whole night to finish this even though I know this gonna be a heartbreaking ending . I even feed my cat with teary eyes that morning . At first, I read many comment that say

I'm sorry, I did not mean it was going up against her drama directly. I meant that they were both airing in July and would be in competition for "largest audience". (Though Doctors will have a 3 week head start on Uncontrollably Fond once it begins.) As a relative newcomer to K-Dramas (just started watching in Jan. of this year), Doctors is my first introduction to PSH and Uncontrollably Fond will be my first introduction to Suzy as an actress. (I enjoy Miss A's music, so she's not unknown to me.) ;-)

In the last episode there are so many sad scenes but one of the saddest would've been with Kim and his mother from her arrival to her cooking his favourite dish and then in the middle of eating the dish; he remembers that she's his mum. So many tears shed. So nice too when he realized that Suzy did not have images of the two of them so he takes various selfies and it seems all is restored in their world until he falls asleep on Suzy's shoulder.
Suzy's hardships:
Suzy had signs of depression during Gu Family Book because of her co-stars, they told Suzy that she’s too young which is the reason why she can’t understand different matters but they also expect her to act like an adult. She felt frustrated but she just held it in until she couldn’t. She bursted out into tears during their presscon.
She also revealed that while she was laughing with a friend, she suddenly bursted out into tears. That one scene of her in this drama where she went from laughing and then suddenly bursting out to tears actually happened to her in real life.
When she was still a rookie, she got offered to star in “Dream High” which will kick start off her acting career. She didn’t want to do it because her only dream was to become a singer.
She never dreamed of becoming an actress. And now, her boss is forcing her do act in a drama without prior acting lessons.
It put such a heavy toll on her, so much so that it caused her to shed tears in her manager’s car.
She closely follows articles about her and all the comments being made about her.
She saw people calling her a slut for dating Lee Min Ho. She most prolly have seen shippers of her boyfriend (now ex) and other actresses make distasteful comments about her. Calling her easy to get, a slut, a whore.. Some shamed her for staying in a a hotel with him.
Insinuating that she did “the d*rty” with him in that hotel.. Disregarding the fact or possibly NOT even knowing the fact that they were accompanied by his mom and sister.. And they were even with their managers!
A few of them even accused her of using him to gain popularity. Most did not believe the relationship, and mocked her for being the only one talking about the relationship publicly.. Completely ignoring the fact that it his agency was the first one to confirm the relationship.

I just finished watching this drama today. I didn’t tear, but i admit its very sad drama. Also love Suzy’s and Woobin’s acting. Please watch this drama if you have not, it’s really worth the watch, (even though it’s not really well received) i personally think this drama deserves an award.
As far as I could see only Suzy received an award for AAA Best Star Award 2016. Ironically KWB's girlfriend Shin Mina was nominated for the same award but lost out to Suzy. Shin mina acted in Oh My Venus, she was really good; but I feel Suzy deserved it.
This drama is worth to watch and i cant stop crying in the last episode and i salute suzy and kim woobin by their acting they did their best and all the cast of this drama sorry for my english
