You again? Seriously, why do you have to crap all over this MV and album, and SM? This is the one time they did right by EXO, and you are dragging them...smh. How much do you know about the entertainment industry and music video, song, and album production? I am guessing not a lot. I don't a lot either, I just know what I have heard/seen from reactors that know about this sort of thing. This is a special album. It was never intended to be a full album, so I don't know why you are crabbing about that. This album was unplanned. It was the members idea, as a gift for us for last year. Each song is personal, and for the fans. They are meaningful lyrics and the fact that they made the effort to include Lay, and that SM worked with Lay to make it happen, is awesome. SM wasn't intending to make a lot of money off of this album, so why would they sink a lot of money into it? It wasn't an MV for one of their main comebacks for a full album. Those are where they put their money. And they have never skimped on EXO's MV's. Also, the first part of the video is actually very well done and wasn't cheap. The last part with the group dance, was low quality by SM standards, but that most likely had to be done to accomodate the clips of Lay, that were incorporated in. He wasn't filming with the same equipment, it was most likely done by a third party, and they may not have the same type of high level cameras that SM does. So to make it match, they probably had to make the rest of the groups clip look the same so they lowered the quality to match. SM made sure to make it look like Lay was there with the rest of the group, even if the quality wasn't the greatest, to make the fans happy. Also, SM doesn't make a dime off their MV's. They promote the song and the album, which is why they do them, but they aren't going to sink a lot of money into an MV for a special album, that isn't even going to be promoted. 5 songs is plenty. How long do you think it takes to record for one song? And they they have to edit it and do the sound production on it..., it isn't like adding 4 or 5 more songs to have a full album would tack on just an extra week. The members had time constraints, and they all did what they could with the time that they had. You are literally the only person I have seen in the comments consistently complaining about what they DIDN'T get with the MV and album, rather than appreciating what they did get. EXO had the most to do with making this comeback, no doubt, but don't completely discredit SM's part in it.
