it is about Mercury 15Hp 2T, this two units are identical with the Japanese siblings the Tohatsu 18Hp, the difference only at the throttle plate, the throttle opening is limited only up to 3/4, that is the reason the peak power output is only 15Hp not 18Hp.
overall, with this engine you can feel the extra torque (compared to other 15Hp brand in the market that is using 2 cylinder with 250cc displacement).
The spare parts should be able to use Tohatsu, just in case you guys are having difficulties to find them in your area.
With extra torque and good price from Mercury (Batam), it is worth to consider if you guys are in the midst of looking 15Hp (2T) engine.
