So guys I'm soon to be releasing my first piece of "merch", I've teamed up with my thumbnail artist Lucas and he's designing 4 remakes of thumbnails previously used for my channel, and with these designs I will be selling the first DayZ Coaster Set! I am hoping to price the set between £10-£15 for the set of 4 coasters, each with it's own Nash DayZ design. SO, I need to get an idea of how many to order. If you think you would purchase a coaster set, please like this comment! Big love guys
congrats on 11th days without nicotine Nash. As an active smoker, it is difficult to quit smoking suddenly. Actually I also want to quit but it is very difficult for me to do so. Instead of stopping completely, now I reduce my nicotine consumption from 1 pack per day to 1 pack for 3 days. At first it was difficult but if done gradually I am sure I can quit. 😅😅
Good job weening down. I know it's not easy. I used tobacco-free, nicotine dip pouches to punch through that final wall to quitting. The brand name is Zyn, but there's lots of different brands. They suck and I had to smoke the occasional cigarette just to immediately quell a nic-fit. But, if you give them 5-10 minutes, they'll handle your nic-fit. Eventually, you don't need the emergency cigarette and then it's easier just to stop using the dip pouches when you can. Just my experience. Best of luck to you 👍
Done it recently with the switch to Vaping, then just switched from High Nicotine Liquid to mid, then Low and now without any. Wasnt hard at all actually :)
Amazing job sir! I think the trick with cutting down is don't let anything stop the momentum! The book is good as it gives you 8 hours to smoke still while you listen, and slowly puts you off to it more and more as you get further through. Maybe try the book as well! (word of warning though he does say in there not to cut down, but gives a good reason (i,e. you should just quit instead). It's worth hearing out!
Quitting is hard, impossible if you dont WANT to actually quit. Its a habit. Replace the habit with a new habit and never look back. Otherwise you will go back. May you find the strength you need to quit if that is your goal.
@@Rizik1986 So true, man. Most addictions are rooted in ritual. Cig with coffee. Cig while driving. Cig break at work. Cig and a beer. Cig after a meal. It's wicked hard to break. You have to break a whole mindset. And you really do have to want it.
Bro I've just quit smoking cigarettes and weed after 20 years ... have had pneumonia 4 years running and had it so bad this time it nearly killed me gave me sepsis and my blood nearly killed me have a bit of lung disease now due to this ...... been 7 weeks now ... Will never smoke anything again have done it cold turkey and have never felt better .... keep it up dude ..... Best thing I have ever done I'm a single father and have more time and energy for myself and my 10 year old son
Amazing to hear you made it stick! I already feel a difference. I quit like this before but still believed i could have "just the one" and started back up. Oh well, now I know there's no such thing as just one!
@@NashDayZ Every now and again a tiny bit of my brain will wake up and start going "You should have a cigarette" - it never totally goes away but once you get over the shit bit where you feel like you've got no idea what to do with your time, you will start to feel a lot better
Congratulations on quitting smoking. I smoked from age 14 to 30 and finally managed to quit because i wanted my kids to be born into a smoke free home. I felt the cravings for over a decade after. Again, good on you for beating the habit.
Thank you sir! The cravings are still there and frustrating, but are getting quiter especially after around the 7 day mark. I feel at that point it went from a sprint to a marathon. Now I'm annoyed at a constant longing for nic, rather than being annoyed at my current craving. That might not make sense. But it did to me haha.

I quit chewing 3 months ago. My nicotine withdrawals are not even there anymore. Chewed for 15 years but quit cold turkey, n i have an amazing support group that is helping stay away from nicotine. Congrats on quitting. Stay strong it gets way easier over time.
Congratulations on stopping, its difficult to stop any sort of addiction if that audio book helped you awesome. good stuff quitting smoking! I quit over 5 years now and one thing I will say is you are willing to quit but your body isn't then don't try you will most probably fail. once you and your body is ready it will be easier than you think. its seems hard in the beginning but it does get easier. the hardest of times are when times are tough.. when my mother died the craving was through the roof even though it had been years without. luckily I didn't go back but those time for me personally was the hardest. the beginning is a step in the right direction after the first 2 weeks you will feel much better. just remind yourself to say no to it even if your mind is begging you to start again.
Thanks for the wise words! I am still feeling strong and know I won't start again. Before I started again thinking it could be just one. It got to the point where it was messing with my sleep a lot. Maybe that's my body being ready? anyways like I say thanks I will bear it in mind when things get rough :)
Congrats on quitting nicotine mate it’s a tough one. Same as you I’ve tried quitting a couple times but always gone back to it for one reason or another. Worse thing I did was change to vapes because I hit a point where I started disliking like the taste / smell of cigarettes. But with all the flavours of vapes I don’t know if I’ll hit that point with them. Good message. Great video. All the best mate
I'VE BEEN SMOKING FOR OVER FORTY YEARS AND YOUR WORDS MEAN ALLOT SO I FINALLY GOT CHANTEX TO START THE PROCESS OF QUITTING CAUSE MY HEALTH IS WENT DOWN DOWN DOWN HILL I CAN'T DO ANY SPORTS OR OUT DOOR SPORTS WITH MY KIDS ANYMORE AND THEY ARE PAYING FOR MY ADDICTION SO THANKS FOR YOUR WORDS AND KEEP US UPDATED ON QUITTING CAUSE I NEED TO QUIT AND NEED TO TALK TO OTHER QUITTERS

@NashDayz I appreciate the videos mate! I commend you for quitting smoking. I am a smoker to and tomorrow I'm goin to go get a pill I used to quit smoking a very long time ago which is called Welbutrin. What it does is knock off the edginess of when you have the craving to smoke and the grumpiness that it causes when you don't have a smoke. I do understand the brain fogginess that comes with quitting smoking. Keep the vids coming mate.
Well done on quitting smoking! Keep it up. I quit in 2020 after 25 years (I started young! 👀) Took a good 6 months for my cravings to fully subside but I’ve gotten there in the end!
Hey Nash bro good on you for quit smoking. I quit myself just a couple months ago and its damn hard but definitely worth it. I can afford a whole new hobby. Keep strong bro!
Proud of you on the smokes, dude. Don’t look back. I haven’t smoked in years. I do vape, but it’s miles from cigs. Hoping to put that down soon also. Great video!
I smoked 24 years before i had the chance to give a buddy one of my kidneys. Found out I could not be a donor and be a smoker I just dropped the smokes, easiest ever but, I had a very good reason to stop. you are right about the longer you are free the less the cravings hit, however after a month or maybe two I was hit with dreams where I smoked and would wake up pissed that I had done that only to realize it was a dream but, i was like it brought the cravings back for a few days.... all i am saying is dont get blindsided by the tricks of your mind and congrats on your journey!!
I myself are currently quitting nicotine. I replaced the cigarettes, with a puff bar, and was smoking a cigarette once in a while for the social aspect of it.. But now i'm having a son, and i just took a cold turkey. It's still hard sometimes, especially when my friend and/or family is going for a smoke. But im getting through it, for the sake of not poisoning my future son, and for my own health. I still experiance brain fog at work when extra stressed. But we can get through this, Nash. I believe in us!
Nash i loves that background music that you edited it when you visit the black market trader, you should increase the volume of that music, it gives a special type of feeling when you visit to trader with that music, btw amazing video series, i loves it , love from SRI LANKA buddy,
I quit smoking more than 10 years ago. I always thought that I can easily quit, if I really wanted to. The point did not come where I really wanted - so I kept smoking. One day I had a really bad accident (an accident I barely survived) and I had a hard time in hospital. When I was "checking" in, one of the questions they asked me was if I smoke or not. I told them that I did. Did not think a lot about it at that point of time tbh.. I had a huge surgery going on (which also couldnt be done immedieately when I was brought to the hospital as I was really in bad shape, to bad to do this right away). After this surgery (I think it was done on 3rd or 4th day I was in hospital) the first thing I know was that I was asked if I want to smoke a cigarette. I was barely laughing, because I could not even just raise from bed (it took me approx 3 Months to walk again - only on crutches) - how should I stand up, let alone walk out the door outside to smoke? They said "no prob, we will bring you outside with your bed and bring you a cigarette so you can smoke". Not sure if they did that for everybody or if they only did that because I really was on the edge for a couple of days... I dont know. And then I decided to not smoke anymore. I had other stuff to bother. I quited smoking exactly in that moment when it came to my mind how stupid it is. Several years passed by now and I am not at risk to start over again. For me this is done. Great video by the way. Really like your content!
thank u Nash ive been a smoker for about 20yrs i smoked weed and cigs i now have been of weed for almost 5 months because im moving to austraila in feb to work and a have a better life so i badly needed to go off weed to get the job i wanted and i smoked more cigs for doing that i so bad wanted to go off the cigs because its wrecking my health but thought i can never do as i would need it to keep me from smoking weed now that i heard your story at the end of the video has giving me the courage to go and get that book and also go off cigs so thank u for that
Hey Nash, as a smoker good for you on quitting. It’s very difficult to quit. I’ve quit hundreds of times and failed. I know all I have to do is just keep trying. You fail once you stop trying. Positive energy your way man. Keep it up and as always love your videos. Hope to see you on the server some time

mom smoked for 20 years or more, and had to quit otherwise she would die with lung failure, and for her was not easy, just had struggle feeling really cold and hours later feeling really hot and crying a lot and back to cold and repeat, and not sleeping more than 4 hours, went anemic, lost weight and even lost hair and needed blood transfusion. She is fine now, no smoke or alcohol, but never dropping soda or coffee.

Damn, thank you so much for that! I know one more thing now to look out for. I will bear it in mind, thanks !!

Keep up not smoking bro. I need to quit again. Made it a whole year once and started again. Its really hard. Im happy you are doing it!
Thank you man, I will. Will be 3 months on the 22nd of this month :D
We got this man, Already made it so far, just have to stay focussed now.
Nash i loves that background music that you edited it when you visit the black market trader, you should increase the volume of that music, it gives a special type of feeling when you visit to trader with that music, btw amazing video series, i loves it , love from SRI LANKA buddy,
Thank you sir! Big love back to Sri Lanka!
Keep it up man! I quit smoking cold turkey a year ago. You can do it!!

Congrats on the nic stoping you got the addiction can be hard
Thank you sir!

I thought it would be interesting if you and all of the other bases were to form a kind of alliance in your area, you know if needed "provide support, assistance, base defense and info" kind of thing.
It definitely would be!

What server is this? Looks good
mom smoked for 20 years or more, and had to quit otherwise she would die with lung failure, and for her was not easy, just had struggle feeling really cold and hours later feeling really hot and crying a lot and back to cold and repeat, and not sleeping more than 4 hours, went anemic, lost weight and even lost hair and needed blood transfusion. She is fine now, no smoke or alcohol, but never dropping soda or coffee.
Sending my prayers and best wishes for her and your family
