for the speed question yes and no pros move way faster but apex is fast paced most players use the slide every couple seconds just for the little extra speed it gives if done correctly and fights happen in seconds if you do not hit your shots and or are slow its a steep learning curve( i used to hate apex for that and play fortnite instead ) so a lot of practice off camera is needed

22:36 you wondered why he wanted to focus the left team. Armchair analysis time 😎
1) Left team was an easier target. Positioning-wise, at that point the right team had better cover from both teams.
2) Horizon's ult can only be thrown a limited distance, the team on the right was out of range of being ulted when he threw his ult.
3) Left team may have been low on healing supplies, they were crafting them. Focusing that team got them to waste heals. Without heals they would be weak when the ring closed in.
TLDR: It's better to be in a 1v1 than a 1v2. He focused that team cuz he secretly had a crush on the other one and wanted alone time with 'um.

@@ChocolateKieran basic Art of war tactic deplete your enemies resources and strike the jugular when their at their most weakest and vulnerable
to the 2nd point: right team would be in range, but as pointed out in reason 1 the left team had the ring to their back, they would have no cover, while the right team has the bike shack. Otherwise correct assessment!
When he loots death boxes he also grabs the enemies shield, and in doing so he gets however much shield the enemies shields max charge is, this is called “shield swapping” and is a very useful thing to learn especially when you are at low health after wiping a squad.

Except looting deathboxes, which can be a bit harder. You have to know exactly what you're looking for, and pros/high rank players tend to be faster looting them.

Sniping or shooting at range, you have to take into account bullet drop and velocity. This game is on point when it comes to that.

To answer your question about his decision towards the end, some of your biggest allies in Apex are actually opponents. It's a little bit like in the Halo campaign when you'd fight Flood and Covenant at the same time-- if you know you can't win a fight head-on, your best option is to stall until things get complicated for the other team(s).

Also, make sure to look in the bottom left regularly. You can see your health, your teammates health, and if your teammates need help!
Aceu is in my favorite apex pro. Try to watch one of his solo games where he drops fragment. The buildings there have crazy amounts of ziplines allowing him to make plays I find to be better than Timmy's. Therefore, you should watch Aceu.
Timmy is a god gamer, he's super fun to watch on stream!! IJust wait till you see him with a Wingman, haha. Great video!
The movement in that video + the fast looting are both really standard in apex, although Timmy does have really good movement in other videos. The biggest thing that separates good player from the rest is knowing when and what to do. Anyone can have good movement, it really isn't too difficult to practice, but knowing where to go and what to do in given situations is what should really be taken away from videos like Timmy's.
p.s. For getting better, just practice never standing still. Even is nothing is going on and even if your are shooting at somebody (especially when shooting, since recoil smoothing is a thing. And looting fast and using the menus fast just comes with time. As you play the game, you learn what you need and where it is located in a death box. Other than that, watch good players and not just trying to copy what they do, but also understanding why they are doing it is the best way to get better. God luck on your apex journey and sorry for the paragraph.

My take on "shoot the team on the left" is that Timmy wants the position of the team on the right, but if he fights the team on the right first, the team on the left comes in and 3rd parties, so by taking out the team on the left first, it reduces risk
so that gameshow thing is actually just one of the memes he has programmed into the stream. So he can hit a hotkey and it'll play the meme bound to it, pretty funny honestly.
Answering your question at the beginning. Yes! Apex is a super fast paced game and movement is a major part of playing

The 30-30 has a long reload time but it had a hop-up that reload's 2 bullets at the same time but it was removed some time when i didn't play

For context there is a special badge to put on your profile for getting 2K, 2.5K, 3K or 4K damage in one game on a legend. Obviously getting 4K is better than 2K, but its still pretty hard and does come down to both luck and skill
a good long form react would be to react to Timmy's Bronze to Pred Video. Its really fun but would definitely a multiparter to react to

The Team on the left was near to the Zone and had to get Out of Cover, so the Other Team also focused more on that squad, this way they could wipe that squad Out easy and have a 1v1 with the Other Squad that had taken damage from the Team on the left while fighting, thats why He focused left.

Timmy is definitely faster and has better movement then a lot of players but the majority of player are very skilled. One of the main issues with apex is the high skill level causing beginner players to have a tough learning curve

When you get your first kill on Apex, it would be like the greatest feeling ever.
I don't know if you know this or not, but a useful tool for seeing people at a distance is to look for movement not shapes. Though I do warn you, that can also trip you up if you're in an area with particle effects.

The gun skills come with time and every one can master the guns but the game iq and awareness are the most important thing in apex

@@ChocolateKieran it's more of an art than a practice skill based match making is a bit intense the game gives you a lot of positive credit if you make top 10 or survive a couple of gun fights so remember to always take the high ground and only engage if it's essential or lucrative

The best way to start playing Apex is to NOT START OUT IN A SQUAD OF HIGH LEVEL PLAYERS. The way the game works is that it takes the highest level teammate and puts the whole team in a lobby of that higher level. So by teaming up with other people who are level 200 or even just level 100, youre putting yourself at a huge disadvantage because you wont be able to learn how to play cause you'll get riddled with bullets before you can do anything.
So my advice is to just start the game solo and team with randoms. Thats the best way you'll be able to learn the game. And as time goes on, youll get better enough to where you can fight with the big bois at high levels
You say that but the first game I did I played solo and died on landing, hopping in with high level friends I've been lasting a decent amount of time just processing what to do and being shown around
@@ChocolateKieran Well, thats just based on my experience. No matter what you will get gunned down at first, but its just been my experience that youre less likely to learn how to play if you play with higher leveled people who know what they are doing since youd either get killed instantly or they get the kills. But if that works for you, then do ignore this.
@@rj4769 I would suggest going into "arena" so you could focus more in familiarizing yourself with your favorite guns, positioning, timing and when to retreat in a 3 vs 3. Another tip is getting teammates of the same levels within 1-30 levels difference or similar level(and avoid hot drop).
"Hot drop" is indicated in the map(highlighted blue area) that spawns more resources and rarer items. Unfortunately, 40%-70% of all players will come here and thus your chances of dying is around 90% unless you're a pro or got skilled teammates.
P.S. My first 13 Apex games was fought in a hot drop area and each game only lasted from 30 secs to 4mins. Apparently, 35-50% of all Apex players are hot drop addicts that enjoy dying within minutes
Reason why he play left than right in the last 2 remaining team it is because of loba, he definitely know that they have loots so it will be hard to push right and also he always knocked down the enemy in the left therefore they dont have bats and meds
when you die your evo recharges and switching a broken red with a new purple then after fighting go back and heal the broken one

just to say, he was saying that he was trolling because if he shot all the downed people he would have gotten closer to 10,000 damage. which at the time was his goal to beat, but he never made it and continuously came close every time with 8000, 7000 you name it he always came close but never actually made it.

The best pathfinder is Skurul, he’s insane to watch. And the best octane is Stormen. Best revenant is Guapee. All crazy.
Also if you if you want to get good at using your abilities don’t wait for the perfect moment just carry on using them and you will get good

Watch JanKz play Octane, its his fav character, and he just sends it full time, and hes really good. Controller player on PC. He doesnt play competitive ( but he could ) as he just loves playing the game for fun. Another controller player on PC is sooXfar, hes just insane good. One of the best controller players ive seen play.
If you go to your settings, then video, you can higher your fov which will make you feel faster

One thing you should nt do is leave your team behind when there respawning, there basically free kills for any team in the area, unless your a real pro you should always stick with your team, PS snipeing in this game is difficult to master as both snipers and marksman weapons need good timeing for long distance and are abit fiddly at best in mid to close range, also this goes as a general rule of thumb but positioning is key, sometimes even of you have the high ground, if you have to move into enemys because of the ring youll bè at a disadvantage
Yo you gotta react to these players: Faide, Stormen, FPS Shiv, Aceu, Lulu Lovely, Taxi, and NiceWigg. They're some of the best in the world.
1:59 most players move like that, unless they are on console, then very few people on console can move like that

You should watch tolerance
Anything above 4000 damage is insanely good.
Only 2.314% of all Apex players have 4000 damage or more in a game. 9069 damage (Timmy's game) was the WORLD RECORD of damage in a game until some other person got 10,300 damage 2 seasons later.
It looks like he is moving really quickly because he plays on quite high FOV
My highest was 2.4k with 12 kills, I finally turned my mic off because when I talk I run around n circles so I told my friend let experiment and surly enough I can't talk and play lol I need to b focus and if I'm drunk I play better lol
Skurul is the best pathfinder for pure movement and insane plays you should react to some of his stuff
A lot of his decisions at the end part of the video is because he’s damage farming bc he knows he could break the record. Normally no one would stand there in pubs for that long. And hell no i couldn’t get anywhere near probably half that lol

He stood his ground for so long cause he was farming gamage. He knew he could just keep shooting and getting damage. Most times he's aggressive and pushes

Neither. he has a sound board that has a short video prepared so when he presses a certain button on the soundboard, a meme pops up. and it is done PURE LIVE. you will see it most often when he does finishers to enemies

And if you are wondering if moving that fast is normal, it is and its not at the same time. Good apex players know that movement is key in apex (thats why valk and horizon are played so much). But pros moves a lot more than a regular good apex player. You will see a normal player moving a lot, but not that fast. And i recomend you to watch aceu. I think he is better than timmy. He is considerd the best player by a lot of people and his movement is ansane. Trust me watch a high damage game by him, you will be amazed

I see the problem with our guy here, he has tunnel vision, even when watching a video, he is just watching the middle of the screen, he is not checking the ammo, the health the teammate's health, until chat points out stuff he sees it, hopefully he starts looking everywhere, it helps in all games, not just apex
Yeah its a bit overhwleming for a brand new game when I'm trying to split my focus between chat and the video/a game also. When I'm playing a game/watching something on stream it takes way longer to process everything going on because I can't focus on UI, gameplay, commentary and the chat too well at once! Its a work in progress haha
