Durable injection molded thigh braces create a more secure interface for performance paddling. Use the “Less” aggressive inner thigh hook for a relaxed fit, or install the included “More” aggressive inner thigh hook for precise control and superior connectivity. Rotate the angle of your inner thigh hook and adjust the supportive outer hook to create individual fit and ultimate engagement with your Dagger kayak.
All thigh brace adjustments are now managed through a single 4mm hex tool, which is included with the purchase of your Dagger kayak. The Engage thigh brace is encompassed within ultra comfortable padding in all the right places and includes shims for a superior and customized experience.

Will these be available for purchase on their own? I'm assuming they are a direct bolt in replacement for the original thigh hooks?
Not sure if we are selling upgrade kits or not. The production bolt holes are slightly in a different spot. That being said, the old holes will work just fine and I have been retrofitting my boats for them to test. All you do it take a slightly larger drill bit (1/4 inch I think) and make the old holes larger to accommodate the larger bolt.
These look great. I like the new green color, too.
Can I retrofit these on my medium Code and Ju Jitsu 5.9 kayaks?

Which thigh braces fit in Dagger boats? I have a 2023 Nova. I'm assuming Sout 2. But they have Tyoe 1 and Type 2 variants of the Stout 2 thigh braces.
Was there a bunch of modifications involved ?

I just called Dagger Europe (UK). They said that the new thigh braces have been launched in the US but not yet in Europe. Europe *should* see the new thigh braces later in 2024, or probably 2025. I asked about whether the thigh braces could be bought and retro-fitted. I was told that this would "most likely" be possible, but they had no news at the moment. I have asked for more information and they have promised to get back to me. (Very helpful person on the phone.)
