I came to see Irene Castle (#1 Second Contestant). She had class and was dignified in the video clip. The lovely widow of dance partner Vernon Castle, who died in an accident during WWI. Thank you for presenting Bud Collyer and the original To Tell the Truth on CBS-TV for December 9, 1958.
Loved seeing Irene Castle.
The panel had a very decent episode. Thanks for the video.
Polly Bergen is so beautiful!
Polly Bergen is the best and smartest panelists !!!! Buddys hair is really colored !!!!
The last 3 were good as a group
POLLY BERGEN SURE WAS GORGEOUS!
Polly is the most gorgeous panelist ever !!!!
Knew it was Bullfighter #3 because Miami International Airport is on NW 36th Street. Yet, #2 was correct in a way, as the Miami Jai-Alai Fronton is pretty close--six blocks--east of the airport.
Kitty's "stink face" at 5:30.
The Game 3 reveal is my favorite.
Carlo Vittorini is alive and 92 yrs former Editor of Parade magazine
He was my favorite , very quick with his answers , smart guy.
But how do you know he's alive? Is he on Facebook
I was interested to see Irene Castle especially since the Fred and Ginger film . Pity they didn't let us see her walk down the stairs , like they do in later episodes , as two of the panel said they picked her from her walk .
I thought she was so lacklustre in the questioning that it can't be No1, so I picked No2 .
The Geronimo Yell was first used by Pvt. Aubrey Eberhardt to prove to His Platoon that He wasn't scared out of His wits and was in control of Himself. The word Geronimo was chosen because of the movie, staring Chief Geronimo that the troops had seen the night before their jump, using a new style parachute.
I picked # 3 as the bullfighter because he had the height and physique of a typical Mexican (most are not tall).
One of Irene Castle's husbands was Frederick McLaughlin, the original owner of the Chicago Blackhawks hockey team.
I rarely if ever, get these right. 😜🤪
Bullfighting is barbaric, but that bullfighter certainly was good looking.
Bud was a Presbyterian, too
Well we couldn't see number 2 Irene Castle walk due to the ridiculous add shoved in our face!

Jackie Cooper was such a dolt, he could never think of a sensible question
