video, I will be showing you how to tie a scaffold
knot. The scaffold knot is typically used in sailing.
fishing, camping, climbing, and general purpose
applications. This is a very secure and strong
adjustable slip loop which is able to grab firmly
on an object. A thimble can also be added to
ncrease strength and rigidity, this can referred ta
as a hard eye. If exposed to an excessive load,
this knot can jam making it difficult to untie.
First start by creating a bight in the one end of
the rope
Pulling the working end back towards the loop
and wrap it around three times
Feed the working end through the loops.
Dress and tighten accordingly.
As you can see the loop is adjustable
