I couldn’t imagine being injured, strapped down like that and then throwing up too. The idea of it makes me claustrophobic and anxious. Dorothy handled it so well and the medics were so sweet with her.
Awe, baby Freddie was so adorable! How sweet was the paramedic with him!! Omg, you can tell. He loves those babies. He was so tender with him. His thumb was the same size as that little nuggets foot. So crazy
He was prem so may not apply here, but lots of babies get jaundice when they are born due to them cutting the umbilical too quickly. They discovered this 10 years ago but doctors still cut umbilical's immediately. I have no idea why. I asked my mid-wife not to cut early, but she said she'd never heard about it and it sounds dumb.

One she called something you said to her dumb(and by the sounds of it didn’t even look into it) and two she didn’t abide by your request for your own health plan for self and your baby. Both unprofessional. Congrats on your little one, even if they aren’t little anymore!!
I broke my arm a couple of years back, and they gave me morphine, which made me sick to my stomach. That's probably why she threw up. They're supposed to give you a shot of anti-sickness meds. God love her - she reminds me of my mom who I take care of. I love the elderly.
You are right .I had surgery I had 90 Staples from my chest down I had the button for pain .I hated the morphine made me sick .I'm throwing up with all them staples OUCH .I would not push it.They took it out and gave me Dilaudid when I needed it I didn't get sick.I was 24 I just wanted to go to work .🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
@@jojomart Hello! I’m not too familiar with UK’s EMS protocols but in mine, we are only allowed to give Zofran as an anti nausea med. There are only a few times when we withhold Zofran (allergy, refusal of the med, heart function, already at the hospital, etc.) if you look up prolonged QT intervals for EKG’s, it explains it more in regards to heart function😊
My grandma was British and she always said I was a nuisance. She was tough. Buried three husbands, walked daily, several miles, and lived to be 102. My mum is 95 and keeping up the tradition. I’m a fat American and I have to behave myself , knowing I have longevity in my genes, I want to be as healthy and active as long as I possibly can. 75 and going stronger than ever.💪
@ProfCheryl I am happy to be born in Germany in a country where everyone gets therapy the only thing that keeps us from being een more better is our "Paper Work addiction" so everyone who is in charge loves guidelines even if they are over 40 years old For example we have an rescue system that needs a doctor to run efficiently, withou a doctor even NFS* who learned things like a EMT would have learned it in the USA aren't allowed to work as they were trained because Federal system in Germany makes rescue things a State department. This led to the fakt that in different states different things are allowed or not allowed... in the one state I am allowed to give advanced pain medicine without a doctor in the other I am not or only allowed to gave low level pain meds what in this situation like an amputation realy isnt enough, the funny thing is there is no reason for it to not allow the use in one state but in the other it is because both NFS had the same training So our problem isnt the whole social system but we are troubled with short staffed NFS and the overwhelming regulations that cause unnecessary pain for the patient....a wonder that we aren't happy with that what we have but we want to help the patient as best as we could but in the moment we are forced/limited by the law to not do things that we have learned which prevent pain but because of regulations we Aren't allowed and this is what makes me angry when the resources are there but nobody uses them because someone got the wrong Textbook

Morphine makes me sick as a dog if I don't close my eyes. It's a trick a nurse taught me when I get the dizziness from it, close my eyes! Another great video!

Maybe its because of all the panic or the worries about the incident what caused your sister to think that they doesnt care about her...but I can assure you there are a lot of things that happens unseen in the background when we check on the monitor, call ER for a bed, nd sometimes there are situations where we are forced to wait or we done everything we could. One thing that could make it appears like the parameds in the video cares more than the one without camera crew is that here the good parts are cut from the bad ones

Used to snow here during the winter, but not in many years. Can't tell me that global warming is just a silly story. I'm not amused. Too old to move now. So I rely on my memories. NHS seems to have very good emergency care where this is being filmed. Could just be for the camera...hope these folks get good cares all the time!
And it's easy to miss a dose if you'd just run out of your meds, but the holidays meant the pharmacy was closed, and you couldn't pick up more. That being said, I wouldn't be out and about if I knew I'd not taken my meds like that.

I am from the US and anytime they film the roads in front of them all I can think about is how the zigzag and squiggly lines on the road might make me feel sick when driving around. In the US we only have white or yellow solid lines, dashed lines, or diagonal lines (for places you can not drive or park) and even the dashed lines sometimes make my head feel funny after driving for awhile. I have a family member that is prone to vertigo and I know for a fact that she would struggle to drive on roads with zigzags and squiggles.

I was given it in emergency after I was thrown from a horse and broke my wrist and it was a big relief, but I heard the doctor ordering anti-nausea meds in my IV too. If they don’t do it in the ambulance they probably should. I especially would feel sick just from being backwards facing while traveling 🤢
Oh how I wish the U.S. had medical systems like these. But the money goes to the police force which, of course, is needed. These people SAVE lives, police end them sometimes unnecessarily. Nothing against the police. We need them for all the criminals in the U.S.😢

That poor woman dealing with post seizure symptoms and having to be lectured by the EMT about medications. She already knows she needs to takes her meds, she probably forgot to take them; it was a mistake. She needs help and sympathy, not to be scolded and talked down to. I’ve been in her situation and trust me, you are the last person I want to see and the hospital is the last place I want to go! And because of being treated like this, I don’t call for help anymore.
So you don't want the medical professionals to do their job and stress just how important her medication is? Imagine if she'd been driving, she could have killed someone. Or if she fell in the road right in front of a car that couldn't stop. Yes, it was most likely a mistake, but she knows she's had severe amounts of seizures her entire life. At some point, you can't let a mistake go. She needs to be more responsible about her medication before she gets herself or someone else killed.

Question, why don't UK ambulances seem to carry fentanyl instead of morphine? It's much more potent and UK medics training level seems to justify being able to deal with it safely. If you look through the fear mongering, that is.

As soon as I saw that baby I could tell he was jaundice. He was so yellow. Very glad they got him checked out. Very loved little guy ♥️

There have also been known cases where Zofran can also cause seizures. Although rare, it still unfortunately occurs.

The whole falling, followed by vomiting, it males me think (I am certainly no doctor, though), that the lady had a concussion.
Also common for pain meds to cause nausea, but yes, could absolutely be a concussion
And the beds making them travel backwards definitely doesn’t help either
