It's definitely S tier. You gotta feel for those 3 Jaguars defenders he embarrassed
They will be forever remembered in video clips... 🤣🤣🤣
@SammyChon lmao I like to imagine that the Jaguars will forever refer to last Sunday as "a day that will live in infamy..."
They can't be embarrassed. He did something completely extraordinary.
Not even a little bit
Lol those Jags all stopped in their tracks & stared at Saquon 😂
Ok, let's break down Saquon Barkley's play in sequential order:
First, Saquon dodges the first defender; Nice, seen that move before.
Second, the next defender thinks he's got Saquon all wrapped up until Saquon hits him with a spin move that would make a blender jealous; Impressive.
Lastly, after leaving the second defender in a spin-induced daze like Iverson crossing a defender over, Saquon spots another defender in the corner of his eyes charging towards him. With his blurry vision still spinning like a top, he turns around, channels his inner Simone Biles and vaults over the guy like he's auditioning for the U.S. Olympics gymnastics team, and sticks the landing only to be flanked by like 5 Jaguars; Holy smokes! What did I just see?
After seeing that, yeah I'm in.
I'm in as well. The spin move is one of the cleanest I've ever seen in this sport. Then to follow it up with something we've never seen before? Yeah it's the most athletic play I've seen. I'll remember this play like I remember the beast mode run and I'm not an eagles or seahawks fan.
I've never seen anything like that in 40+ years of watching football. Awesome.
Games changed and guys knew better
I agree I've been watching football since 1973. Not only have I never seen I don't know anybody has ever been that athletic to pull it off.
Man that's nfl street type stuff 😂
😂😂😂
FrFr😅
I'm IN. Amazing one handers, all the jukes and spins and hurdles, even that flip they showed... they've all been done before in one way or another. Ya the flip he stuck the landing, but other people have done the flip and if I recall I think Newton stuck the landing on a flip. Ya at some point in time someone was the first person to ever do it, but we're how many decades into the NFL? Nobody has ever pulled this move, or even heard of this move being pulled, or have even thought of pulling this move, at any level, ever. People practice incredible one handed catches. Guys practice hurdles. Guys even practice flipping, they know they can do a flip before they attempt that. Nobody practices what Saquon did, not even Saquon himself, because nobody has ever thought it'd be useful in an NFL game. This came in the moment purely instinct and reaction. That's incredible.
Agreed 100%..
The greatness in all of this, is that Barkley got at least 5 more yards with that reverse hurdle, it wasn't just for the highlight. It's just awesome😅
The answer is YES.
I love amazing one handed catches or helmet catches or breaking multiple tackles and of course hurdles... those are all amazing but many people have done all of those. No one and I mean no one has combined those elements AND done a backwards hurdle over a player, landed and then took multiple people to bring them down.
I don't care how old you are or how long you've been watching football if you say you've seen something like this before you're lying that was amazing and will likely never see it again
He hurdles over 2 yards in reverse 🤯🤯🤯
That’s the wildest part. He jumped atleast 5-6 feet in the air and 6 feet in distance BACKWARDS
Flips and tricks can be replicated but not what we just seen. This will never be done again.
Barkley needs to put that move on a t-shirt..those sales would be wild ,!!!!
Barstool Philly already has a t-shirt out of it lol.
That was an incredibly athletic play! This 'cat' Barkley is incredible & is the difference in the Eagles being average or very good.
Definitely Thee best move I've ever seen
I thought that was AI or a game when I first saw that. I couldn’t believe it. All other plays I’ve ever seen look realistic. This was unreal!
This definitely didn’t look like ai 😂😂😂😂😂
it was a straight vertical jump after a ridiculous spin against NFL players. unbelievable.
1:24 ninjas 💀💀💀
Dudes face when he said “That’s my Ninja” 💀💀💀
I've seen sports since forever, that was the most shocking play i've ever seen. But the bengals wr front flip into the td, wasnt too shabby either.
But that’s doable. I can imagine most receivers can do a front flip
@@toptiertech7291this play was doable too
@@RaphelMartin-k4x repeatable
They should call the move "A Barkley"
He just said "that's my ninja" hahaha
Bo jackson running on wall
I never seen a better move than this especially considering what he was doing before that where he was juking everybody
I feel for home dude, he will be forever be known as the dude that got jumped over by a dude with his back turned to him.
Thank you for the first minute. The rest was just fluff. Have a great day!
The Larry Allen highlight tho, looked like that Capitan America and Black Panter run! That was crazy from the front camera. Dude looked like he took the serum. Dude looke like he was pulled on strings 😂
On top of that… he was BIG. Crazy 😅
Front flips are easy! Anybody can front flip! I know I can… Little kids even can! Tons of football players have done it! High school, college, in the NFL. But nobody, I mean nobody, has ever done anything like Barkley did the other day! And never will again!
Just google football player front flips you’ll find lots of examples… Jerome Simpson might have the best “front flip”… but it’s not hard, anybody would try it! Usually the defender ends up hitting their legs and actually helps them rotate!
Barkley play is just a whole different level let’s be real!
People can do this. Especially athletic players. It definitely will be done again.
@@RaphelMartin-k4x no it won't! it was random AF and nobody would ever think off trying it again... you will see front flips again way before that! probably even this weekend!
The fact that everyone wants to argue about it so much kinda proves the point
I told ppl he a ninja turtle 😅 they thought i was cappin
Flashy and impressive, but Walter Payton and Barry Sanders both juked entire backfields out of their shorts, and kept it going for 6 points.
But they never hurdled someone backwards
And we paid Jones $160 million 😡
Letting saquon walk has nothing to do with paying Daniel jones
@@brandon_925yes it does. They said they couldn’t afford him. Cut Daniel jones contract down and pay Saquon whatever he wants
@@toptiertech7291they was losers with both of them playing 😂😂😂😂
Yes sir, and wouldn't even give Barkley 30 + hate that we did this
Yes that year they should've paid Barkley and tagged jones
We know what he really meant by ninja 😂
I’m a big eagles fan and saquan fan, but I still have to give the edge to odell beckham jr’s one handed endzone catch as the most athletic play ever.
I'm in. I heard his teammate call this is Odell catch caliber.
I saw Randall Cunningham jump over a guy. Vince Carter did it in BBall too.
👍👍 saqune Barkley can run hard as a giants eagles I think that he runs hard like crutis martin did and Lamont Jordan for the last jets back in 200s and Duce stayley and tiki barber 🔥🔥
To me it is hands down the greatest play ever. You have a huge running back that can leap that high not to mention that he made three people miss, according to football speed within 5 seconds?
I want a photo of Barkley in the air during the backflip.
Never seen it before until he did it! So case closed!
Still not the most athletic play in nfl history
SAQUAN is insane
Saquon reverse hurdle vs. Ken Walker’s front flip tackle break. Both in 2024
The answer is very possibly. It’s def the play of the decade, at least
I agree definitely not number one. If he had broke those tackles and scored a touchdown, it would have been the greatest play in sports history.
No one said greatest play. He said most athletic play
@toptiertech7291 i'm very well aware of what he said. I'm telling you what I said. My opinion
I think it's dam close
I agree, because No One has seen that before PERIOD.
It’s like Barry sanders never existed
Look at it again Barkley saw him coming
Henery going to do it tonight against Cincinnati!
percy harvey could do this, he’s the most athletic person in NFL history. Barkley might be top 5 for sure but PV number 1
My mom who’s 65 said work thing to me about this play lol
whoever is out r haters ... it`s not even close .... they actually said a dude jumping n flipping over a dude he sees running towards him is more athletic ... smh ...
Billy Sims karate kick play comes to mind
That's amazing? How do all these "professionals" forget the insane catches that Brandon Lloyd made.
A catch is no where NEAR as impressive as a reverse hurdle over another grown man
are we forgetting abt obj wtf
It's not like he's Caitlin Clark...🤸♀️
In I've never seen anything like it and probably never will again.
so you guys dont bring up chris carson s flip? ridiculous smh.
Larry ALLEN!
Sonoma State = 4.6 forty
Odell and Barkley. That’s about it
Good list but i’ve got to think 6’7 Gronk number one (see vid where he kicks the db “out of the club.”)
My money still on Larry Allen chasing down Darion Conner.
The thing is he did sum that WONT HAPPEN AGAIN
Jerome Simpson touchdown was better than
That is not just egg on an opponent's face.....its a ROTTEN egg rubbed firmly in the opponent's face.
Kids don't try this at home. EVER!
YES!
Absolutely not. Jerome Simpson's front flip over a man for a TD was way better.
Seems like nobody but old San Diego Chargers fans remembers Gary Anderson in 1986: th-cam.com/video/EzsBFlg4vMM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=NOltSfnLMlswss5E
Terrible - All the plays people are showing the person is moving forward - This man jumped backwards - That is nearly impossible to do
Nah not close. The bengals Simpson flip tough down.
Ninjas 🥷 or N? 😂😂😂
Watch it, ninja
Simple answer: yes
I never seen it frfr ❤
It’s amazing I think it might be?
Yes.
Id say, Top 5 moves all time. Because, he thought to do it..... It wasn't a accidental amazing play...
When did he think to do it?
A lot of people on here talking about the best and all that and how amazing it was. Y'all gotta understand all sports are entertainment. So that being said it's all rigged and set up that way they already knew he was coming with that. Lastly look up rigged NFL videos and my claims will make even more sense.
Absolute filth
Games changed and offensive players ain't getting knocked out every game so you tell me
The other day David carr referred to the eagles as not that exciting to watch. Lol I guess hurts dropping bombs to smitty and aj isn't exciting. Or saquon juking, running over and jumping over people isn't fun to watch.
Uhm Odell Beckham jr catch was the most athletic play ever.
A reverse hurdle is more difficult then any flip or one hand catch … especially in the NFL
That’s what they don’t get. No catch is as difficult as what he did
Myles Garrett is 6' 4" 280 and he hurdled an entire O line for a blocked kick in back to back years... this was a great play but the hyperbole is out of control lol
the o linemen he jumped over was bending over , saquon hurdled BACKWARDS over someone STANDING STRAIGHT UP!!!
@yrnloso3799 jumping over the O line, from a dead standstill at that size is still a crazier athletic feat IMO... saquon had momentum from the spin so the jump itself wasn't that crazy, having the vision to know where the defender was is next level. Not taking anything away from saquon its an amazing play just not the greatest athletic feat in NFL history like they talking lol
Someone is a big Cleveland fan
@@doomsdayprofit5779 i’m just saying we seen plenty of people jump over the line on a kick and block the field goal of PAT, we NEVER SEEN SOMEONE HURDLE BACKWARDS!!!
@@doomsdayprofit5779 if you watch how he comes out of that spin, he actually stumbles a little to the side. He has to like re-orient/re-calibrate his body to make that jump, so no, he didn't have as much momentum coming out of the spin as one would think. That makes it absurdly impressive to me.
Bo Knows…
I'm in... Bananas
SB33//22=14
No.
Why is this league so obsessed with people jumping over people?
Maybe because he did it backwards
Maybe because he did it against the most elite athletic defensive people in the world.
because when you jump over a tackle, let it a backwards hurdle, there is alot of risk involved , like you getting tackled blindsided, helicopter style ....
Because it takes extreme athleticism and skill to be able to jump over a person who dedicated their life to playing football and not letting that happen. But not only did he jump over someone but he did it backwards which is even more insane
@Hic_Sunt_Leones-o7vdef not standing full height he was bending down for the tackle
Definitely not number 1. Was just bad tackles majority players past 30 years don't even wrap.nfl doesn't do the fundamental of tacking by wrapping the arms around the legs.
Hell nah😂😂. Ninja😂😂
Does this win Play of the year over Jayden Daniel’s Hail Mary Wilson’s one handed catch?
The hit after the reverse jump, is that worth trying to hurdle someone?
That was a regular hit my guy.
Yes!… it’s ABSOLUTELY worth it… they’ll replay this highlight during the broadcast of his Hall of Fame induction
The 4 more yards is.
@@Big-Bearded-Alkebulanian-Man pretty sure he has a back injury from it
Only Ninjas can do things like this 😂😂😂
No doubt
Hi
Jerome Simpson landing a front flip over a defender for the TD is still far and away the most athletic play.
Facts forgot his name lol
Other people have flipped over people and if I recall newton also stuck the landing. People practice flipping and know they can do it before the attempt it. Its in player's minds as an option... nobody has ever seen or heard of this at any level of football ever.
Players practice tumbling techniques like somersaults, unless they have a gymnastics background, a full flip over another upright adult male is monumental. A reverse leap frog? I could do that over the tallest defender trying to go low.
It was a cool sequence, great highlight and move. A feat of sheer athletic prowess? Probably not.
It must have been rehearsed.
Out
lol everyone acts like Adrian Peterson didn’t play football 😂😂
Everytime something nice happens the convo "Best ever" comes up. Its ridiculous. 1000's of plays forgotten or overlooked, Why can't it just be an amazing play lol. I would put the Jerome Simpson front flip over a man td higher. People forget so easily lol.
That was an awesome move but in no way is it the greatest play in NFL history! That is absurd to say ! If he scored a TD after the hurdle then yes maybe so but he basically got 2 more yards so it’s definitely not the greatest ever!!!
Buddy they didn’t say greatest play, they are arguing it’s the most athletic play
@ still the NFL has been around for so so many years I don’t remember every single play in history but I can say that was an athletic play but not the GOAT no way maybe if he gained more than 2 yards after the hurdle but I’m sure there are many similar plays where someone did score or at least gain many more yards! But was it a great athletic play yes there’s no doubt. I just get tired of the recency bias.
@@landonhendrickson3000Then it really gets even harder to debate, because there have been soo many athletic plays that have just went by the way side. Just let it be an amazing play, stop trying to call anything new "the best"
We're not here to hear about your tie!
It's fake!! Just slow down the video. Dumb world
Odell catch was the most athletic play I've ever seen imo.
No it wasn’t! That was just a catch!
