Choi Yeonjun caught my eye the whole time, as I followed his arm & hand movements cuz the moves were articulated. Wonderful performance! Niki’s is an amazing dancer, too but the jacket took away from the dance, but I know 100% he slays. This was great watching them both as they, as someone else wrote, are some of the best dancers of their generation.
Yes. That jacket made it hard for him to put his hand inside the shirt. Otherwise he could have slayed too. I noticed how yeonjun moved his hands smoothly that I didn't even notice he lifted his top at first glance
I don’t follow either group but honestly I think Niki’s just too young; he doesn’t have the experience or maturity to modulate his specific style and adjust his interpretation to match the original vibe as closely. It’s obvious they’re both great dancers with lots of similarities but maturity *really* makes a difference-and it’s why neither of them can quite compare to Taemin.

Plus the hip hop dance in the beginning had me a bit confused😵💫 as it didn't connect with the performance at all, but it was nice to see Shinee kid Key being on the stage with Taemin again.😅 As for Jeonyun I thought he did a good job with Guilty performance wise... but I just really disliked Hybe's over processing of his voice (and txt's in general) that his singing sounded empty and soulless to me. (I actually liked Niki's deeper tone vocals better as it sounded fuller and less processed) What turned me off from the latter performance though was how his stans were going on about how he was better than Taemin and made the song popular🥱 but you know how crazy stans are and spew some delusional bs to try to praise their fav.😮💨

Im both a moa and engene and even tho enha are my ults i have to say YEONJUN KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. Ni-ki has more sharpness and power and overall very precise performance but Yeonjun just felt what the song wanted to denote idk how to explain it. It was smooth where it needed to be and energetic/sharp when it needed to be. +Points the espressions were just chef kiss 💋🎀
yeonjun shows guilt better. slower, it flows into him as the guilt sinks into him. his movements more vulnerable. In my opinion, he reflected guilty better.
