I've been playing this tune since the 1960s, and I still hear new harmonies and rhythmic ideas. Today, you shared some gorgeous chords in your moving lines. I must get some down on paper tonight. Muito obrigado! 🙏🏼

Love Jovino Santos Neto!!! I took some classes with him at Jazz Camp in La Honda CA. Great camp. The way he thinks and can talk about music is so beautiful, articulate yet simple and makes sense.

Love what you did, especially rhythmically. So many Latin you tubers play rhythms that I and my mere mortals can’t possibly hope to play.

Your tutorials on Jobim are great. Maybe you could introduce some tunes from the "worst of Jobim" - some lesser known titles which of course will still be terrific. And I am a huge fan of Hermeto, heard his concerts in Switzerland, you probably were at the keyboards. The whole band marched through the auditorium at the end, an unbelievable event.

This might be a dumb question, but wouldn't the 6 of the Am be an F natural? In accordance with the A minor scale? I noticed you playing the F#.

when it comes to chords, if you see a 6, it’s a major sixth

And are the narration and piano audio bounced out of Pro Tools pn the same track? Does the narrator's mic pick up the piano sound or is the piano sound from a PT virtual?
