Also if you're using acrylic paint on top of a glossy topcoat (idk if it works on other topcoats but I doesn't work on regular nailpolish) you can scratch it off if you make a mistake when it dries

Yes! I agree with you that practice doesn't make perfect. I had a choir teacher that taught us that too, except she said that it doesn't make perfect, but permanent!

These tutorials are so informative I can't even! I can't draw a straight line to save my life, but I want to learn and eventually also learn the one stroke technique. Do you know that technique? Would you consider doing a tutorial series on it?

Just ordered the liner brushes on Amazon! I’m trying to invest in a higher quality liner brush. Definitely a pricer brush, but seems worth it. 😭 I had ordered some cheap ones from Amazon, which does the job, just isn’t as still as I would like them to be. The liner brushes you had mentioned looked like they have better control!

Fantastic tutorial, thank you! I didn't see on your links, however, where the brush was that you drew the leaves in with. This has been my absolute nightmare scenario; every time I try drawing something I have no control over my brush b/c the bristles are just too soft and meant for only lining I guess. Anyway, can you please let me know what brush you used for the leaves? Hope to hear from you and thanks again for a great tutorial!!!

What paint do u used? Can you add the link to buy it? I tries using acrylic paint for nails and it dries to fast.
i use gel polish. you do this with whichever brand u have

My nail posh always clumps or dries to fast on the small brush how can I prevent this
im using gel polish because it doesnt air dry. Try doing your nail art with acrylic paint instead of regular polish so it doesnt dry and drag when u draw.

Why would you not recommend using nail polish to paint free hand?
Regular nail polish dries too quickly, so it will make practicing your line work very difficult. It calls for slightly different technique and tools so ill go over it in another video. For now try practicing with thin acrylic paint.
Hi!:) I was wondering if anyone knows if a liner brush would work to draw on hair like strokes for my eyebrows? or if I should use a different brush? I think a hard one would be better than a soft one, but I'm not sure

Whats wrong with using nail polish ?
it dries too quickly which will effect the bristles of your brush and therefore your design. while i dont recommend it for practicing at this stage, u can certainly use it once you feel youve got a hang of these excercises.

u can empty the jar and fill with acetone/polish remover or wipe the brush before use.

+Alba Torres I use art gels which are intended for drawing and are usually more pigmented. In this video im using Presto Art Gel in AM02
