I just got finished reading Ciara's prayer. It's ironic how women want unconditional love from men yet a women's love comes with a variety of requirements and conditions.

Kevin's three basic tenets for women (as I've come to understand): 1- Don't have kids before you get married, 2- Don't look down on (or pass) average, blue collar men (high value doesn't necessarily mean high earning), 3- If you have issues, seek professional therapy. And I'll add a couple of my own: 4- Be aware (and realistic) that you have competition out there. 5- It's okay to be wrong sometimes...it really, really is.

      @chowchow2386 ปีที่แล้ว +3

For point #2. I believe you meant to say high earning doesn't mean high value. (You said the opposite). If you listen to Kevin's content, you'll hear him repeatedly state that in order to be considered high value, the earning component must be part of it (typically $10,000 USD/month).
I would even go on to challenge (personally) the point re. therapy. When we see so many people go to couples therapy, where the "Duluth Model" is applied (woman always considered to be victim), coupled with radical feminism and Marxist ideologies overtaking the humanities (psychology) programs. That therapy in this day could be counter productive.
As Jordan Peterson once stated, "...the only right wing psychologists are in this room, sitting in this chair..." (referring to himself).

    • @jopinscott1777
      @jopinscott1777 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@ChowChow ; usually, the women who called Kevin equated high value with high earning. And a lot of them were talking mid 6 figures and above. As for therapy, of course, it isn't always 100% successful, but it's probably helped more than it's hindered. It's like a discussion I had several months ago with a few friends, where I surmised that people with higher education stand a greater chance of success in life. I received pushback about it, with some of them saying they knew highly successful people who never attended college. As with therapy, there are always exceptions, but the truth is they agree with my viewpoint, especially when I pointed out how they stay on their kids about making good grades.

    • @bingoplayer

I’m a married woman and I’ll tell you, Mr. Samuels is not playing. He is telling us the truth. I used to be delusional like these women but I took a break from dating and sat myself on time out to figure out what I was doing wrong. How to self-improve, how to level up on my skills as a potential mate, and do the real work to look at myself honestly. I’ll tell you - when I was good and ready to get dating again, I met two kind men in a row who proposed to me. My husband and I are living happily and truthfully in what marriage is. And no he is not my partner.

Yep, even as a young man I had to look where I was being delusional at before seeking out a wife. Its a process we as humans need to go through, however as KS shared men are forced to go through this realization at some point. While many women never do, so congrats to you for being able to self-reflect and realize where you had to work on as a woman verses using the leverage you has a woman to be victim in all situations.

Getting older has let me see how someone like my ageing mother who's always been very independent can no longer take care of herself. If you’re looking for unconditional love, look to God and also love yourself. You cannot expect perfection from another human being and expect them to fill voids that only God can. Your relationship goals should be to build a life together and add to each other’s happiness that you already had prior to the relationship. There’s nothing wrong with praying for God to send a great husband/wife for you, but make sure you also pray that you are ready for it and ready to appreciate and understand all that comes with it, good, bad and in between.

I can relate to what Kevin is saying about the family. I’ve always wanted to have my own family (husband and kids) but it just hasn’t happened yet. Last year it really hit me that I don’t have a family. Yes I have a mom and dad and siblings but now that we’re adults- they are not my family. My mom has her kids and grandkids, my sisters have their kids and their own life that’s built around their kids, my cousins have their husbands and their kids. They can’t just make decisions because they have families and move as a unit, they can’t just go out without permission, we can’t just have girls day because people have their own lives.
During the holidays, although we all came together, they were sitting next to their kids and significant others- waking up next to them or spending time that I couldn’t intrude on.
When they make decisions, they make decisions on what will be best for THEIR family, not me because they are their own unit, I’m just an extra wheel.
I got sick and it hit me that I still had to list my mother, sisters and cousins as my emergency contact. As much as they cared for me- no one was there to give me a massage, make soup, and be by my bedside. What would have happened to me at 70 years old with no family of my own. It’s not just about someone caring for me but I pour so much into others and extended family that I want to do that for my own family.
I’ve always been very super pro family and wanted kids and a husband for as long as I can remember. I look forward to the day I can be a wife to my husband, raise our children and build our family legacy and lineage together. Not because of loneliness but because I want my own family and it doesn’t matter how many birthdays I attend, how many baby showers, how many godchildren I have, they are not my family.
I have my own prayer and I am getting ready to be a wife and a mother to my children someday, to give them all of this love ❤️

The woman at 1:08:00 mirrors exactly what happened in my first marriage. My son's mom said I was beating our son (no proof, no police report). We went to court, I had proof of her neglect of him. She would leave him by himself while she smoked (she admitted to it). Got drunk around him with strangers in the house etc. I show the judge the pictures, texts, emails (as I was deployed) and she still got custody. Court order was she couldn't move further than an hour away from me so I could visit. She claimed she was afraid for our son's safety and left the state against court order. I went back to court to have her be held to the court appointed agreement and the judge said I was being vindictive and to not return to court. Fast forward to 11 years later, my son wants nothing to do with me as his mom didn't allow me to have communication (not for a lack of trying) with him but within the last 2 years any time there's an opportunity of me coming into finances I get a call. She expects me to only be there financially not physically.

When we tell our women something we want them to actually listen not just take what we said "into consideration", sit on it for a week or a month, and then possibly maybe finally do what we asked in the first place. Easy example is Ms.Wong in the last 1 on 1 talk with Kevin. The entire time she was "listening and taking into consideration", she was "nice" she was respectful, she wasn't rude in any way, but at the end of the day she still chose to keep her previous beliefs. Children get hurt literally all the time every day in relationships. Kids on a regular basis jump off of things that are too high, they run into walls, they drop things on themselves, they run too fast sometimes straight into a wall. This is stupid. She's literally just saying "I'm mom, my kid got hurt, I don't know what happened, but I'm going to completely blame my husband and go to psycho levels of vindictive by divorcing my husband just to spite him even though he's not a threat to my children in reality and it all may have been a mistake, but who cares, I'm mom".

What got me the most out of Ciara’s prayer was
    1. referring to wants AND needs in the blanket of “everything” in a husband.
I enjoy that my husband doesn’t give me everything I want.. in turn it requires consistent growth on my part, and in my walk with God; also, he’s worried about sustaining our worldly NEEDS, along with his own relationship with God.. So that’s all I’m grateful for!! That’s what makes me happy.
My wants aren’t even really my concern.. we have two kids, my wants are out the window. I’m happy cause our needs are met physically. I have room to teach our children life skills, to fill their intrinsic needs! That’s literally enough for me to praise, and serve him in private + public, as I do Jesus in my closet.. which is commanded of me.
Not recommended if he act “right”, commanded. Point blank.
*Submit myself unto my husband as I do unto the lord*
Which goes into my next red flag in this “prayer”
    2. I don’t put my kids above my husband.. he eats first unless he’s busy and waits to eat.
And before people ROAST me; this is not a situation where children are in danger!
it’s cause when I’m elderly my kids will be off in their own relationships, building their own lives. They need to see me respecting my husband! SERVING him, and to see him loving me.. it also gives them a view of “hierarchy” and allows kids to know their place, a child. Not a “lil momma” or a “man of the house”.. it teaches them to respect people, too. It does many many things.
I get trash talked a lot by family members, other women.. I don’t need it. Cause I see those dynamics play out in real time; and it really screws kids up.
I’m happy to focus on the inter works of the children and the household. Some view it as a prison. I’m unsure why.
    Cause it’s peaceful!
It’s better than having to hunt AND gather.. I mean come on.

Between 2002-2019 about 10 million black kids were born. 78% out of wedlock. 32% had kids by multiple BM out of that 32%, 20% 4 kids and 16% 5+ kids and 42% of the 32% never cohabited or committed to the women in question. And 60% of these 32% have been incarcerated. 3-5% of black men (superspreaders) fathered over 3 million kids

Because at the end of the day a man's home and wife should be his peace. Every real man is the King of his castle and he takes care of his wife and children. My Dad did not let my Mom pay any household bills once she started working for herself when my siblings and I got in middle school. For the women who are still confused, here's the problem men have with Ciara's Prayer:
What is she offering him? How hard would it have been to include a line or two like
"I would give him my heart, body, mind, and soul freely without question or hesitation."
    And/or
"I look forward to the day when I will publicly vow to be his to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, and for richer or poorer until death do us part. Divorce is not an acceptable option for me as I have vowed to stay until death. I want to make that vow to him in front of my community, friends, family, and God. Should any of them notice that I am failing to live up to that vow in any way, I want them to hold me accountable to it and correct me so that I can apologize to him for my failing and improve."

Sounds like the kid hurt himself and this woman believes her husband hurt the kid. The court isn't going to take a year to lock you up over abusing a child. The child got hurt by accident and she blamed the husband. She's a damn lie.
