As a starting youth coach, this is amazing to see, all the lines and movements with the video, it helps massively to see and understand things i cannot yet detect while watching the game live.
I love these type of play calls. It always reminds me of the Spain pick and roll. Plays that can work on every level are plays where you keep the defense guessing and give your good players multiple options.
Update: Saint Peter’s is in the E8, they barely beat Purdue. Just like Oral Roberts, a 15 seed is getting far into the tournament. Shaheen Halloway is the calmest coach ever as well. The speed and physicality of the Tar Heels will be tough
Was lowkey waiting for this video because I saw Saint Peter’s offensive ratings and was like how the hell is this happening (Ndefo and Edert have been clutch, Banks chipping in as well)
Been watching ever since your breakdown of Dick Bennett's mover blocker offense and love your content! Not sure if you read comments often but would love to see an analysis of whether it's worth it for a team to win their conference tournament championship. I've noticed in the past few years that there's a lot of teams (2018 UVA, 2020 OK St, 2020 Georgia Tech, 2021 VA Tech) that lose their first big dance game even though they claimed the conference tournament championship. It would be cool to see a breakdown of how many teams go on to go far vs lose early in the big dance after winning the conference tournament
I know how teams are tired of them but even if you’re not a fan of them we all recognize what they have done I will say that you don’t have to know who they are to understand what they have done in this tournament. Saint peters is incredible! It’s going to be interesting to see what happens next with them as we move forward.
Calipari is an all time recruiter, but an average at best coach. Recruiting the top star talents means you'll have NBA level talent but for just one season before they declare for the draft. Then it's back to finding more top level recruits for the next year and so on and so forth. So Calipari still hasn't recognized the importance of teams getting to play together as a unit for more than 1 season.
Their run may be over, but this 2022 St. Peter’s team will always be talked about for years on end with breaking through and proving the doubters wrong, alongside putting Jersey City and the MAAC on the map
It worked because none of his kids want to play D and none of them can shoot from deep, because he wants athletes ton of nba talent thru there to not have more than 1 natty appearance when he lost to Wisconsin he should have changed everything he did right there he's coaching like Steve Nash smh
Hey man, can you make a video to teach me what Jaylin Williams is doing in Arkansas defense as a "spy" defender? In last night's sweet 16 game is was wild because it seemed like between that wrinkle clogging up passing lanes, and Au'Diese 1 on 1 on their PG Gonzaga offense just shut down, was like 20 poi ts under their average? Is this something no one else has tried to do?
St Pete is a elite 8 team I put 50 on St Peters winning it all the way this wacky season and tournament st Peters play funamenel offense rebounds and defense rebounding play physical defense there not a Cinderella team they beat 3 rank teams in this tournament I know it's a long shot I like st Peters winning it all then a lottery ticket even funner
This is coach cal and the type of players he recruited he wants athletes nobody can create their own shot they give horrible defensive effort and he literally has no knock down shooters he put all these guys in the NBA but didn't know how to use them and win more than 1 natty I been saying they need to get rid of cal the HC or at least get a guy who wants to run a actual sys and get players for that system

Good luck with your team, man

By the way ur vids r great and thx so much for making them
Still waiting on an analysis on Miami's: 4 guards, 1 forward lineup.
They're so fun to watch- would love to see this too. Also impressive how little turnovers the hurricanes have in the tournament
As soon as I saw St Peter's made the S16, I knew to wait for you to come out with a video about how they did it... as always, great work!

S Tier basketball analysis and breakdown, thank you!
Love the video! What do you think made them so inefficient throughout the year with sets like this?
Tnx for knowledge. More up to you Coach from here Philippines 🇵🇭
I love that coach's quote
I was waiting for this one!
As a Purdue fan, this was cool to see. Great video. Keep it up.

Holloway doing good stuff.. probably 1 of the tuff guard .. i have to guard in high school..
Awesome content. Really enjoyed this.
Great Video!

you should do this for for all the "sleeper" teams. Maybe some of the plays you enjoyed most or maybe the ones to look out for
Great content...keep grinding
Go St. Peter's !!!!
Great analysis, keep up the good work
Great video, well done
That was awesome.
Great content
And they March on....!

This is the only reason to keep watching the tournament. I get so bored of seeing the same teams over and over again.
I felt u stare into my soul from 4:38-5:03
Elite 8
dude you are AWESOME
Great vid, keep it up
Oh Man!

Can you break down the Miami offense in their matchup against Auburn.
Waited for this
Had a great run, will come to a end against Tar Heels
Saint Peters coach is about to make some good money.
It worked against Kentucky because John Calipari doesn't let his team play zone. Hence why "Kentucky wanted to turn them into ball handlers".
It worked because none of his kids want to play D and none of them can shoot from deep, because he wants athletes ton of nba talent thru there to not have more than 1 natty appearance when he lost to Wisconsin he should have changed everything he did right there he's coaching like Steve Nash smh
the defense has carried them
.
Can we get a Final Four scout preview? 🙏🏻
How do you get all this game film?? I really need it! Don’t know where to get it tho.
I’m an Auburn and Miami fan can you break down how Miami blew Auburn out so bad
Auburn missed about 20 layups
@@adamjedynak7479 true but it was cause Miami’s defense was perfect for our offense they essentially neutralized Kessler
@@gianniparello2632 agreed just thought that auburns starters were finishing terribly regardless
@@adamjedynak7479 definitely agree it was a horrendous game for AU sadly
Do you blink or move your eyes? Got the Jon Rothstein/Jomboy dead stare down

Is this something no one else has tried to do?
It's like 33% switching on the screen 33% man and 34% zone
U got to break down Arkansas they will win it I promise u
😈let hope so🐗
This guy really just said "MoNMyTh"
Imagine if Saint Peter's wins again
Edit: LET'S GOOOOO. Now time to beat UNC in the Elite 8 lol
Then they make history
aged well :)
Great guard defensive play, but low offensive proficiency more scorers than shooters not known to shoot the 3 well
the boys
🔥🔥
Purdue coachs watching this rn
And they move on! 🦚
Elite 8 Peacock
And now they win against number three purdue
On National peacock day
Their mascot issssssssss
The Peacock
National day miracle
I c why. But it's not mentioned here.
Go Purdue!
Why were they so inefficient all year if their offensive scheme is supposedly so good?
St Pete is a elite 8 team I put 50 on St Peters winning it all the way this wacky season and tournament st Peters play funamenel offense rebounds and defense rebounding play physical defense there not a Cinderella team they beat 3 rank teams in this tournament I know it's a long shot I like st Peters winning it all then a lottery ticket even funner
Until they ran into UNC, Props though Peacocks

Jersey
My coach coached many of the St. Peter’s players and I play in camps with them you really underestimate d1 players skills
Do you blink?
I love a good Cinderella run as much as the next guy, but screw them and their representing a terrorist organization on their warm ups.
What Organization?
What
BLM
Yes right about that probably a scam too
terrorist organization 😂 okay Chad
Good stuff. I enjoyed it
