- Erin wants a can of what appears to be Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli, but her mom says she had Chef every night this week. After they've gone, the can takes a journey from the supermarket to Erin's home. Erin Sander is the little girl in this commercial. The Rolling Can, Champaign ran from 2004 to 2010, with slogan, "Boy, this stuff is good." The Don't Spill the Chef's Secret (a.k.a. Chef's Secret) ad campaign ran from 2009 to 2012, with slogan, "Obviously delicious, secretly nutritious." In 2010, Conagra launched another ad champaign, involving inanimate objects talking to children while they're eating their bowls of Chef Boyardee. The slogan for their other ad champaign is, "The Saucy Meaty Taste You Never Outgrow." The champaign ran from 2010 to 2012.

I saw this commercial for years and years.
I actually have a false memory about this commercial. I remember seeing it when I was about 4 or 5 and thinking for the longest time that it was a Snack Pack pudding container rolling down the street. It was only recently that I found out my mind altered my memory of the ad, and that it was, in fact, Chef Boyardee, as seen here.

This commercial implies that the family not only goes to a grocery store extremely far away from their house, but also that they go grocery shopping every single day, as evidenced by the line "Not tonight, sweetie, you've had Chef every night this week." as if they are only shopping for tonight.
No, it just implies they bought a bunch of cans at once and are eating them every night...doesn't mean they're buying them every day.

Oh my god, the 60- and 90-second versions are even more emotional than the 30-second version I remember. Even though the can sees 1:00 and learns its fate, it continues on to the little girl.
It would have been even nicer if they added a bit at the end where she cleans the can and keeps it on a shelf or something because she knows it's magical XD

Here’s an idea for a Super Bowl commercial:
The young girl is now grown up and has a daughter of her own and they’re shopping at a grocery store and her daughter wants chef but gets told the same thing “you’ve had chef every night this week”. The can then goes on another journey to their house and when it ends up in the house, the mom says “hey what do you want for dinner” as she walks in and sees the can in the floor and takes a look at her daughter and then a tear runs down her face as she gets emotional and then it cuts to a can of chef boyardee and you hear “boy this stuff is good”
