Hard to express how awesome this afternoon was and doubt a video could ever fully do it justice but this was one for the ages ! Great hanging out with some many fellow bttf nerds and special celebrity guests . Well worth the lengthy rushed pilgrimage to make it on time . Where do you learn about these BTTF events? Is there a specific website or something? I thought I had found it before, but obviously I was wrong because this wasn't listed on it (not like I could go that far right now anyway, but I'm hoping maybe someday I could get to one that's closer).
backtothefuture.com has this event listed. You can sign up on their website to receive emails about upcoming events.
I know of that site. I don't think the event listed there matches this one. Maybe it is the same and I'm missing something ? Bleh.

The drag race scene in Back to the Future 3, was filmed on the street behind my house. And where they destroyed the DeLorean, was about 15 minutes away.
@Emerio Manzano the scene when the train destroyed the DeLorean was near Hueneme beach, the drag race scene was near Oxnard airport.

Clint Eastwood was actually humbled they used his name in the movie. Part 3's are always overlooked, but i think it's one of the Best.

9:00 Perfect Emmitt Brown. Almost like he was molded from the Christopher Lloyd master cutter. Seen him in other Adam the Woo videos. We have a guy locally who is equally good playing Barney Fife. Now, back on topic. The actors (or perhaps they were guests dressed up) that played Jules and Vern look very realistic as did Clara Clayton actress.
Whenever I see any ATW BTTF related videos I know it's going to be one to watch! Awesome!

Back in 1988 i was 20, i was a BTTF fanatic and of course i could not afford a DeLorean so i went out and did the next best thing. I bought a new black Toyota 4x4 identical to the one Marty drove in the movies. I even somewhat fit the similar look and size of Marty/Michael J. Fox at the time so i got quite a bit of looks driving around in it.
Oh heck yeah! One of the best movies ever!!!

Marty looses all the fuel in his car. But why didn’t they take the fuel out of the car that doc arrived in?

This episode made me grin from ear to ear! Favorite moments were with Willy Wonka the Elixir Salesman 5:43 and the great Doc Brown at 8:51 . He was so spot on as to be hilarious!

Fun fact... the tree behind the stage coach robber, it TALKS! His name is Bob. (That's literally where I filmed the Jack the Lumberjack and Bob the Enchanted Tree video on my channel.)
I love Columbia. Try to get there once a month. They have that awesome Sarsaparilla. But what's better is that they have a shave ice place with the Sarsaparilla flavoring...and it is amazing. The one place I didn't see you hit was Nelson's Candy Kitchen. THIS is the place that keeps me coming back. The best Chocolate malt balls and honeycomb you'll find anywhere. They're the BEST!!!!
That courthouse photo was from part 2. it had the large mall windows which weren’t there until 2015. In 1885, 1985, and 1955 there were just normal windows there.

I visited the oldest bowling alley in the World. President Grant even played there. Roseland Cottage, Woodstock, CT.

Here's another bit of trivia for you, Columbia was also used in the Clint Eastwood movie Pale Rider, which is, as you know the new name for the ravine....
We made it there - me and my friend & son are seen briefly behind 'plutonium man'! Unfortunately, this was an anemic version of what it could have been. I'd visited the actual nearby set location 28 years ago, and that would have made this event kick-ass!
Looks like a really cool event, wish I could be there (and on the other side of the country from this blasted hurricane!). That sign post was funny, most of those cities made sense but why Gastonia, NC?
I grew up less than an hour away from where this took place, and I had no idea they were doing these Hill Valley Festivals until I saw your videos. I hope they start them back up again (and the events in SoCal, where I now live) once things are back to normal!
Just an idea. You should approach PBS and plug a show that is a follow up to the late great Huell Howser. As a tribute and possibly more California adventures.

You better get control of your weight before it's too late. You sail along, feeling pretty good, thinking that the extra weight is no big deal. ...But you eventually hit that wall, and you hit it hard. Just trying to keep you from going through all of the daily hell I go through with diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems and vision problems.
