It's just that the other courses at Miranda House, like Political Science or History, have much better scope, and are much more sought after than the other courses offered. Philosophy is a good course, just doesn't offer as much scope as the top courses I've mentioned above. Hope this clears the confusion

no it's actually great if you're 100% sure you only want to do pol science no matter what the college is. but if you want to prioritise the college too a little bit, it would be nice to have options. specially courses like history are close to it, and you can always do a minor in pol science if you want to. but ultimately, it's your decision, contemplate well & decide. all the best!

Hey ! You can apply for philosophy even if you didnt have that subject in 12 you just have to choose one language and 3 domain subjects(the ones you had in 12) that will make your merit for admission

Don't go for any combination. Otherwise you will regret in future. Make course your first priority. Colleges are more or less same.
