Hello guys!! omg its been like 2 months since I made an actual upload. To some, its been 2 months but to others, it may have been almost a week since I do still try to post some edits here and there. I think it's interesting how Amity's voice goes from more growl-like to more collected, less like she's forcing herself to sound aggressive to appeal to her parents.
The "I'm a blight" speech likewise seems like her relaying what her mom said. As does her calling a teacher "Mom". All about commands.

This is probably the best example, notice how her voice goes from intimidating to calm as soon as she figures out who she bumped into. It’s an act, she’s trying to sound intimidating as to not sully the blight name because no one would take her as seriously if she talked regularly.
amity is kind of the perfect character. a fully fleshed out character arc going from enemy-> aquaintance/frenemy -> friend -> girlfriend + embarrassed and being unsure -> completely self-assured badass.
she is honestly done perfectly. lumity forever

These are the only three scenes I know of with the smoothest animation I've seen
1. Every intro
2. Grom dance / fight scene
3. The kiss scene
These are the smoothest animations I just I love it I can't believe how much effort that must have took and two of three of them are big steps in Amity and luz's relationship

Luz in light and I believe that Luz Noceda is night light, which I really like as she is a light in the night for everyone in the Boiling Isles
I love seeing how Amity developed as a character. She was always obsessive and driven (because her mom made her be that way) but the massive shift between the first few episodes and Eclipse Lake is so huge. Going from obsessively trying to be the best at something she's TOLD she needs to be the best at, to trying to be the best at something she WANTS to be the best at. I love it, this show is so good!
It's so funny to see how drastically Amity has changed through out the show by what she said.
“The ingredients are very fresh” reminds me of “the design is very human” for obvious reasons and I think it’s a hilarious correlation

I just realized that when she was confronting her dad, she said, "You don't talk to us anymore." I'd like to think her dad used to be a better parent before Odalia manipulated him to be more like her. I know he's not the most attentive parent, but I'd like to think Alador genuinely cares for his kids.
