I was mildly suspicious at how all these comedy podcasts came into me and my friends’ feed all at the same time about 2 years ago. I kinda enjoyed them at first, and didn’t think of them as some commercial product, but it all makes sense now.
Yeah, everyone started getting them ..pushed hard by TH-cam
Fr then they talk about sponsors, their merch, their shows etc to sell whatever they can while sitting down and talking about their day. Red bar really woke me up to how mediocre these podcasts can be
idk what you’re on but i found my pods thru other pods and people associated with them. it’s that simple. if you’re interested in a certain circle or group of people they will push similar stuff. it’s not that hard to understand. you ever notice when you watch something different like for example a plant video, you start getting a bunch of plant/garden videos? which can eventually lead to soil, farming, wild animal videos, vegan food etc. it’s called an algorithm

John Banks Joe basically dissected him psychologically with very little, for being a bullshitter. Yeah he called him out for their shitty set ok, but aside from that it isn’t him doing it with other podcast guests or when Santino isn’t around. I think Joe can see right through Santino trying to use Joe as clout to promote the show nobody is going to watch and their podcast that has no soul to it.
This is 27 min of a 3 hr show tho. And way stand up for someone who feeds you shit lmao

Within 4 episodes the set changed. Not Bobby Lee’s side, just Andrews. You can tell some stuff got to him in the Rogan episode. It got changed to fish.

Aleks Ignjatovic Thank you for the kind, informative response. I’m sure everything you said is true. I’ve heard Bobby in other shows in the past. Everything I said is also true. In the end, Bobby has made plenty of money to repair a lot of the damages he has done to himself but he continues to neglect himself. This shows he is still dealing with some of his demons. He probably still has some self-destructive/self sabotage tendencies that will directly or indirectly affect people in his life. How dark or destructive those things are is anyones guess but when I see him ripping off his fans I tend to not feel as sorry for him or people like him. I hope you and your family stay healthy as well. Eat nutritious foods, get plenty of sleep and keep your immune system strong.

I have a similar sentiment in that the two of them (Santino and Bobby) are super funny when you put them in a room together, regardless if they are riffing off of random shit. The only problem with Bad Friends podcast is Andrew Santino. He is not funny... he is just a dude there taking up space. Bobby Lee could do the podcast by himself. Losing Andrew as a co-host would be an upgrade for the Bad Friends podcast.
