Qd1 or Qc2 would neutralize that. If knight takes rook then white simply takes black queen. Black still has to move the queen while losing the knight in the process from the white queen.

His immortal move is not even the best one on the board... Best one was the underwhelming Queen trade because after Nd7 there was Be7 (or slightly worse is Bg7) which is still completely lost; he didn't show those line for obvious reason - too little tactics, though.
