I have a 2019 and love it but I put a power Commander on it and it makes a huge difference to the throttle response. Best thing I could have done. I still have the stock muffler but no cat or pre-Can. Thanks✌️
For the mirrors, look at Rottweiler Performance. I bough theirs for my 790 Adv R and I am really happy with them. I think they can be mounted on the handlebars (In my bike they mount in the hand guards). But honestly, I rather have the leavers covers instead as you do. Excelent video, as always. Cheers.
With petrol going the way it is, I'm in the market for a commuter bike so the 4x4 can only come out on weekends, I was never a Duke fan but seeing how much you can do to them you really have got me wanting one...
Bar end mirrors aren’t going to fit with the guards..it’s either or. Had my 390 since ‘21..still enjoying it. Junked the tail tidy, crappy mirrors, db killer and installed frame sliders. All from China..and KTM branded. Looking for a cat delete pipe.
Gotta get some bar ends on there mate, they are so much tidier. We put some Shin yo ferrara ones on my wife's street triple and she lives them, nice and firm and no vibe. Pretty low price and they're out of Germany I think.
I bought a cat/pre-muffler delete pipe for $53 it's too loud imo I'm thinking of replacing it with the Chinese version with a cheap cat-like dB killer built in the middle.
Now you have a garage and a wise let's try to make a panniers and topbox cage....it's easy....and if it's too easy make the panniers and top box your self
What I'd do with unlimited budget? I'd turn it into a mini ADV bike, upgrade the suspension, change tires, and get some decent saddle bags, also, i'd rig it with like 3 jerry-cans, so I can save on the future petrol price increase 😂😂😂
One thing before you buy your self a exhaust, the duke 390 ist sadly one of the worst sounding bikes and I don’t just even mean stock I also mean with pretty much every exhaust on the market (at least everyone that I know and I probably know a bunch of them), but if I can give you a tip, sure the Akrapovice looks the best but it’s one of the worst options, because it’s WAY to expensive for what you get, it doesn’t make the bike ANY louder and just changes the sound, which brings me back to the first thing I mentioned, they all sound not very well, I would MABY even say a bit rubbish, in MY opinion. In the end it’s obviously you decision but I just wanted you to know bevor you buy one, cause I do know MANY PEOPLE riding a 390 duke (cause of the European license shit with A1, A2 etc…) with many different types of exhaust’s like Akrapovice, redicel racing, GPR you name it, so I THINK I know a bit about that topic. Anyways good video keep it up and have a nice one🥴
