But even "MOST", a page that belongs to Netflix and that their job is to share content of the Netflix shows that have heavily queer content, was involved. Even a few days ago "MOST" again shared a video of Wednesday. You see, the problem here is that even tho they did all of this LGBTQ+ marketing, the show had like 5 seconds of a same sex couple and that was IT. Some actresses (Yoko and Divina from wednesday) even said there were a few more queer characters but Netflix cut their damn scenes! 2. The fandom was ready to accept ANYTHING, but they gave us nothing. And for people that say that having 1 same sex couple was enough diversity (and just having 5 seconds of screen time), it's the same as saying a room full of white people and just 1 black person is diversity. IT'S NOT. 3. Netflix it's definitely now using wenclair (wednesday and enid's ship name) for marketing, and it shows, because it ended up being the most famous desired couple in the show. 4. I remember that Netflix, about 1 month ago of the shows release, shared a photo of an ofrenda for Día de los Muertos. It was a full photo of skulls of the whole Addams Family, there was Gomez, Morticia, Pugsley, Uncle Fester and Wedneday. You see, believe it or not they also put a skull for Enid! i have watched all episodes and this is my personal opinion. does wednesday and enid have the best chemistry in the show? yes! should wednesday and enid be romantically involved as a couple?! no! the reason i say this is because it is best for wednesday and enid to remain best friends.they are just meant to be that way. plus both of them are straight. if either of them was either a lesbo or bi it would have made sense. it would be weird and forced if these two suddenly become a couple and it may affect their chemistry and friendship too. let enid and ajax be one couple, and wednesday and tyler another couple cause i feel both these couple have decent chemistry as romantic interests, but both enid and wednesday would priortize each other more than their boyfriend.
I understand why some people might want them to get together but I think it's a bad idea and here's why. History has proven that once you get two main characters together regardless of their sexual orientation in the end it kills the show. The main reason for this is that once you go there the focus of the show shift from good storytelling to their relationship and this one would be doomed. Although they could make for a interesting couple there are a few issues they would have to overcome to be together. First of all both of them have expressed their attraction for boys a huge leap for Wednesday who has stated outright that she will never pursue a relationship at all but she open up herself for a boy in season 1. Second thing is that they live in different worlds, sure opposites attract but over time their differences will surface and cause major tension, like the way Enid called out Wedness for putting them in danger. Wednesday is willing to defend the ones around her but she is just as willing to harm them if it helps her for fill her aspirations. Wednesday has stated herself that she has narcissistic and psychopathic tendencies a byproduct of these psychosis is a absence or diminished capacity for empathy the complete opposite of Enid. Enid cares for others on a level that Wednesday will never understand and the sad truth is that if she did the character that we have grow to love would change. In time any positive tension the two might have had would fade out. Once that happened the writer's would focus on the end of their relationship util the big break up and the should would end. Why not just let them be what they have become. Two people that have differing opinions working together without all the relationship baggage. This show could be a great opportunity to show that young women can just be friend. Just a thought.
Wensday is not gay, LGBT wants this to happen because this show was a major hit it was Netflix best show ever, so they want this show to push there Agenda but it's not going to happen
I do respect gay people but if she's gay, that's outta character bruh... When I saw Wednesday the first time, I loved it but since I heard rumors about Wednesday and Enid being in a relationship, I'm gonna hate the show and move on to other Netflix shows or Disney+ shows
Interesting how everyones critical focus for the show is on gender or race issues. Yet, no one is empathetic of the real plot for the show. Native Americans were slaughtered and had their land taken from them. Thanksgivings is an American holiday tradition for families and friends to enjoy great food and to enjoy each others company. The premise of American’s view on this given day is good, but if they really understood what the first settlers did to the Native Americans on that so called harmony day it would be called something else. The beginning of the end…Mass Genocide. 😞😞😞
I love how people are defending their platonic friendship knowing full well that if these were two boys the sexualization would skyrocket and no one would say a damn thing about it.
I don't even need to watch the video. its because they are straight and both just best friends. Ship people together all you want just don't expect it to be canon
Listen I just wanna say this, just because you think they look cute together does not give you the right to ship them. Wenclair in my opinion is kinda gross saying that enid already has a boyfriend, sorry if I sound homophobic I’m not though. I just need to let people hear this. I said this to someone and they literally said that they don’t see the problem, the problem here is that enid has a boyfriend, and (most likely) Wednesday is straight. Saying that she kissed Tyler, copy and paste this if you want because I need people to hear this.
The marketing team literally threw a drag queen party that was called Wednesgay, cutting scenes with an LGBT couple, and even the dialogue is a little LGBTQ in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it fashion.

I’m personally not a fan of the ship Wednesday X Enid but that’s also a stupid thing to say. Sure there’s less gay people than straight but they still exist. That’s just a homophobic thing to say, and it makes you look like a bloody idiot

i just want squad goals. or platonic friendships. i'll be very annoyed if it goes the same way as legacies (doubt it will cuz tim burton is a boss) but yk
The whole concept of queerbaiting is just wishful thinking. Why are people these days obsessed with making any friends of the same sex actually gay & not just friends. Why can't Wednesday & Enid just be friends.
Str8 ppl never see romance in anything queer, they just cant relate, and im not just talking abt this show.. im talking abt reality, why do u think ppl deminish gay couples? They dont take them seriously either way, str8 ppl cant take seriously queer love
I honestly see a lot more people accept straight ships when two characters are just friends. They don’t care when it’s a boy and girl. If it’s queer then they’re like, stop shipping people who are just friends. It’s just so clear to see. Just let people have what makes them happy, it doesn’t affect their life in any way

i have watched all episodes and this is my personal opinion. does wednesday and enid have the best chemistry in the show? yes! should wednesday and enid be romantically involved as a couple?! no! the reason i say this is because it is best for wednesday and enid to remain best friends.they are just meant to be that way. plus both of them are straight. if either of them was either a lesbo or bi it would have made sense. it would be weird and forced if these two suddenly become a couple and it may affect their chemistry and friendship too. let enid and ajax be one couple, and wednesday and tyler another couple cause i feel both these couple have decent chemistry as romantic interests, but both enid and wednesday would priortize each other more than their boyfriend.
When I saw Wednesday the first time, I loved it but since I heard rumors about Wednesday and Enid being in a relationship, I'm gonna hate the show and move on to other Netflix shows or Disney+ shows
And again, I respect lesbians or gay people
Interesting how everyones critical focus for the show is on gender or race issues. 😞😞😞
The best comment I've read so far!
I love how people are defending their platonic friendship knowing full well that if these were two boys the sexualization would skyrocket and no one would say a damn thing about it.
I don't even need to watch the video. its because they are straight and both just best friends. Ship people together all you want just don't expect it to be canon
in my opinion Wednesday should not have a love interest it just does not go along with her character.
The Shocking Reason Wednesday and Enid Are Not a Couple: They Both Straight.
They should make them a coupleeee
FR IT WOULD MAKE SENSE
Not imo. People don’t always gotta ship two female characters
@@ajayzkates both of them have a boyfriend.!
stop shipping characters that both of them dating someone else💀
The lgbtq tag is because of Eugene's 2 moms its not a bait its there
yes that rubbish has to be in everything these days,
@@DarrenMalin calm down darren
What do you mean
@@sawtawhtu2479i think he means that they force lgbt on every movie, and series. So that the lgbt people wouldn't shit on the series, just cause it doesnt have lgbt.
Ps remember how dahmer had an lgbt tag? He WAS gay but people didn't want that representation because he was a murderer.
Lgbt people only want GOOD representation.
@@sawtawhtu2479
100% agree. I have nothing against the lgbtq community but it gets hella annoying when it’s in literally everything
The two halves of my personality trying to coexist
I'm mostly conservative, but I'm totally fine with gay relationships. And no matter what side of the isle you're on, there is definitely a spark of something between Enid and Wednesday.
I love Wednesday and enid.❤❤❤❤
Me too. Hope s2 have some love story to tell.
I like the characters as kids. You can tell a story with people just being a friend
Fr
This!
There are millions of people who follow this series, and I noticed through the videos I watched and the publications that most of the people who follow the series want to have a love relationship between Wednesday and Enid, so I think that their lack of connection together will be a disappointment to most followers of this work
It's best girlfriends for life. That's BGFFL.
sapphics who are obsessed with wednesday x enid
Listen, I am all for queer representation, but I saw only friendship between these two.
she was sunshine, i was midnight rain
#wenclair #wednesdaynetflix
Thank you for your video I'm so glad that somebody put it into words
I wasn't feeling like the show was queer baiting Wednesday and Enid (tho I did definitely want them to get together) until they gave Enid the conversion therapy storyline. I don't think it's fair to give a very clear allegory to being queer with an unsupportive parent to a straight character.
I don’t see any romance intended for them but I understand why this ship came to be, people really enjoy tropes such as opposites attract and enemies to lovers
Female friendships are often over looked
@@ben0789 ok?
I thought enid and thing were more likely to be in a special relationship LOL not enid and wednesday
Thanks to netflix because i am fed up these lgbtq love in every series
I AM FED UP WITH STRAIGHT PEOPLE TOO
I’m personally not a fan of the ship Wednesday X Enid but that’s also a stupid thing to say. Sure there’s less gay people than straight but they still exist. That’s just a homophobic thing to say, and it makes you look like a bloody idiot
Enid is the perfect ride or die friend. 💗 #wednesdaynetflix
i ship them they look so cutc together
Why is this such a big deal I ship wenclair but if Enid was a boy I'd still ship it yall ever think its not just gender the way the show portrays the characters close bond made me want to see them in a relationship the same would go for if enid was a boy but I still don't force it apon anyone I just simply enjoy it and thought they would be a cute couple does it matter that much
Jesus, they are children. Can't they have friends before romance?
I personally hate this ship but your argument is also weak. Sure they are children but in the last episode(?) Enid is literally making out with her boyfriend so..
Is anyone else team Wednesday x Bianca?
Didn't The other old Wednesday like a guy with glasses?
Wednesday isn’t gay
Wednesday isn't straight
Wednesday is bisexual
Emma and Jenna don’t agree with you though. Watch their interviews and you’ll see they’re hinting at a queer romance like the whole cast (;
@@raydaveed Wednesday is dating Tyler that mean she is straight and Enid is dating Ajax so please shipping them
@@eleni1rol okay but that's not going to happen lmao, they're BEST friends.
i just want squad goals. or platonic friendships. i'll be very annoyed if it goes the same way as legacies (doubt it will cuz tim burton is a boss) but yk
In the next season they are dating wnchlair!!!!!
Just let people have what makes them happy, it doesn’t affect their life in any way
I'm gay... and uh no. Enid and Wednesday are definitely just friends. Why is it so difficult people lmao
As a gay person, this ship is just stupid. It doesn’t make sense. They’re just friends. Half the reason people are even shipping these two girls is because they are girls. They’re following a trend
@@Ordercrime1 shipping doesn’t mean people think it’s canon in any way. Think of it like a fantasy.
It’s true some people get too delusional with it
@@abjectmadness1111 yep. Lots of ships don’t make sense. But it doesn’t have to. Some are bizarre, some people ship characters that aren’t even friends. That’s how it works lol, they just like the dynamics
No No No No
I SAW GAY SO I SAID GAY THAT AINT BULLYING THATS AN ASUTIE OBSERVATION
I thought that the queer baiting was from the ads, but I also don’t really see any of the ships working in the show anyways.
What disgusts me most is that this is a thing people talk about. These two are like high school characters, and you people are wanting what? Some fantasy material?
Haha there’s a ton of high school romance movies, your argument would be better if they were like elementary schoolers. Also it’s probably a lot of real high schoolers talking about it which makes sense
You are just mad because if a queer couple happens you ( and any straight person ) will threaten to stop watching the show which i find hilarious 😅
I’m not lgbt so I have no idea was going on I thought they was friends
im rlly worried cause my parents are homo and my dad will get mad if they get together. i ship them both SOOOO much but my dad gets mad at these things :(
"Queerbait"? Nah, people is/are people. Any lez or straight perception is on the viewer, not the writers. By the by, why are you saying "bit" when it is "bait" ,or is this the defect of your machine pwonhoncemunt?
You not now that I don't like Wednesday kiss someone because am are discuss Emma kiss someone
But I don't fell a discuss for sure because i like wednesday as a fan
Hehehe
OMG THIS IS MY FAVORITE WEBTOON IM SO GLAD SOMEONE ACTUALLY MENTIONED IT
there was no queer baiting
LMAO WENCLAIR SHIPPERS WERE LITERALLY HALF THE PERCENTAGE OF WHO WAITED AND WATCHED THIS SHOW
#wenclair
Wtf
Stoppppp
The way Wednesday was in Season One, I wouldn't wish her on my worse enemy. How many times did she threaten to kill someone to their face? How many times did she put peoples life at risk to further her mania?
Enid is a sweet person, for a werewolf(?). She deserves better than Wednesday Addams....
I like Charles Addams' New Yorker Addams Family cartoons, the 1960's TV show, and the movies including Wednesday series.
But Wednesday threaten to smother Enid in her sleep because she was too friendly.
I mean that's just how Wednesday is though
bro LGBTQ has to shut up for once its like they want every movie to be gay
WHY YA'LL WANT EVERY FILM TO BE STRAIGHT YES WE WANT EVERY FILM TO HAVE QUEER REPRESENTATION BC WE FUCKING EXIST TOO
@@ajayzkates It’s still annoying tho, y’all don’t gotta ship every character who are the same gender and are close friends
What are you talking about? most shows on netflix are straight. If anything we are tired of straight relationships being thrown in our faces everywhere even on tv lool
@@ajayzkates disabled people exist too but somehow I don't see disable baiting? Or trends about it? talk about hipocrisy
