    Your expert opinion is required if we use the Likert Scale on three scales, like agree, neutral, and disagree. Is it permissable?

    Nice explanation sir.
    Sir can u plz differentiate between RANKING and RATINGS scales in the regard that whather we can use any of these its our choice or there is some condition like as i think Ranking used within the Questioner or interview and Rating used for overall research results.

      @zia..A rating scale question allows you to measure strength of response while A ranking scale question allows you to measure priority of options. For example, if you ask a member to rate five different product concepts and she rated three of the five with a score of “7,” you do not know which of the three is most important. so then you ask another question with a ranking scale of the five options. this would give you the critical information

      G.nahi brother.. they might look same but they are different...since both have different anchors..like in likert scale we have agree, disagree etc.. while in semantic we have two bipolar adjective and rate in between two..

      While numerical scale has numbers only

      There is no "reverse" scale... It will be still called as likert scale..
