    I dont own a camel. I'm not in the process of buying a camel. I cant afford a camel anytime in the next five years. Yet I love them so much I watch so many of these types of video. My dream is someday to own one.

    The main thing with saddling a camel 🐫 is the riders comfort or you wouldn’t be saddling the camel in the first place 🥇!!!!!

    The fast forward motion which also speeded up the motion of her chewing her cud is hilarious. I hope it doesn’t take this long every-time. But enjoyed it.

    I saw the movie "Lawrence of Arabia" and they ridding camel with one leg cross around the saddle handle.
    After the search I couldn't find why. Does anybody know ?? Maybe because there are no stirrup on camel??

    Doesn’t it help if the halter isn’t rubbing their eye which it is here (her right eye).

    • @CamelConnection
      @CamelConnection  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This halter is a little big on her yes. The padding under nose keeps it away from her eyes more or it would be worse

      can they be affectionate and bond to humans?

    • @MrEmiosk
      @MrEmiosk 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kathysmith3614 Yes, I know they can and like with any pet or animal you handle everyday will come to like you (unless you are a outright twat, from the animals perspective, very important destinctions there). Now the level of bonding is up to your skill at handling the animal and the animal itself. I know of a couple that has gotten to be favoured by these beasts, and damn are they a better guard dog you'd ever wish them to be. They will care as much as you do about them as they do about your wellbeing, and will step in to protect you from any percieved threat... where it can come to be a problem.
      But to be short, yes they do bond with humans. How much and to whom is however their decision. Some sadly just have to settle of being tolerated presence in their lives.

    Why does the saddle have to be that heavy?

    • @CamelConnection
      @CamelConnection  6 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      We make them that heavy because of the heavy duty work we do like camel expeditions etc - the last thing we need is a saddle failing out in the middle of the Australian Desert

    These types of saddles are not practical and fast
    We use lightweight saddles and practical
    Use it Our ancestors for thousands of years

    • @MrEmiosk
      @MrEmiosk 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Are the light weighted ones you use easy to repair, and are they for just riding or are they multipurpose? Cause the reason given is that they are all purpose, meant to last and not breakdown during long out back travels they do. I am not personally too inset of what is considered to be too cautious, but I can understand the heavy steel saddle frame.

      @@fisebilillah4406 Well, we are not talking about them now are we? Of course you can use less, but these are tourist focused folks, not desert tribesmen who lives on the backs of their camels and can't afford to go to these excesses, or sees the need to do so.
