The Story:
When Anderson Jones Was Only 6 Years Old He Had A Dream To Own His Very Own ABC Cinema, He Loved It All, The Big Buildings, The Architecture, The Big Entrance, The Journey & Adventure You Took To Get To The Screen & The Auditorium Itself. In This Day & Age Cinemas Have Changed A Lot With No Character & No Real Experience So Anderson Jones Wanted To Recreate What He Loved So Dearly Back In The 80s, He Stuck To His Dream & Spent 32 Years Collecting Cinema Memorabilia & A Further 5 Years On Building The Project, This Is Now What He Has Accomplished.

Fantastic! Home cinemas are nothing new, but this is more than a cinema, it’s a time capsule. The smell of popcorn as you walk in, the green exit signs, the backlighting on the walls, the flicker of the projector, the red curtain gradually opening and the vibration of the seats as the cinema ident plays out.
Just watched this with my family we all thought it was Fantastic we actually gave you a round of applause at the end of the video

We both no the magic ABC gave. 32 years starting as projectist and then on to General Manager. What you have done is absolutely amazing thank you so much for keeping this memory alive.. Paul.

I used to be an usherette at the Oden in Manchester in the mid '70. I remember the Lyon's Ices trays..and the torches...I used to go to our local ABC on a Saturday afternoon back in the '60 and loved it
I don't have a "room" (this is so impressive and cool!) but I do have a 100" projector screen, popcorn and surround sound. its pretty awesome having a cinema at home. I'd love this.

Way back when I was a kid in the 70s my dad built a home cinema. Back then it was Super 8mm film projection, but very unique for it's time. You have a lovely build, well done.

You have access to the internet which is the greatest business tool every created. It allows you to trade with people all over the globe.
There 3 billion people that will be coming online over the next 15 years that will have needs and desires.
Have a look at the works of Ray Kurzweil in terms of engineering and science being applied to human problems and how these will play out over the next 15 years.
Really truely fantastic build, I've seen a lot of home cinemas online but this is exactly what I always envisioned, right down to the 35mm projector! Beautiful!
I have to say that I'm impressed with your idea of building your own ABC Cinema because It's nice to hold on to your dreams to make it happen.

I'm pretty certain it's JBL Cinema 3000 Series up front, 8330 surrounds and 8340 rears... Amplifiers are Cepiar RS-450s and RS-600s from what I've seen.

Great to see this video and so positive it is too. Well done you are a genius to do this also. I too have my own make believe cinema in my spare bedroom completely like a old style Odeon. I do show my film video there too. I have worked in cinemas all my life now retired so hopefully will use my own now and when lock down is over my friends can come and see films there too.

Find other people to you with a similar interest and try to work together. It is not always about money.
Something that might be easier for you to work on would be try and get a local cinema to get a 35mm film projector set up.

By far the best Home Theater room on TH-cam! :-) This is certainly the theme I would go for too (when I build my HT Room in the future when I get my own house). 80s Cinema Style! I cannot take to these big spacious rooms with power recliner chairs, etc. It just doesn't interest me. I wan't the retro 80s look to it! Not the blacked out look of modern cinemas.

Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, The Shining, Witness, Color Purple, Once Upon a Time in America, Rain Man, Indiana Jones, Scarface, Blade Runner, Batman and Untouchables are all amazing films and far better than what is being produced in the last 10 years.
What on earth makes you think it was a lousy decade for movies.
