Great video! Thanks for starting at White Sands. I live 20 miles from it. Amazing drone shots, lots of action. You really know how to shoot and edit a super interesting, energetic video. Thanks!
I've looked at a lot of videos of trips in the US, and yours was especially enjoyable (to me) because you went to many places others don't seem to visit--I guess because you were crossing the country. I saw New Mexico (White Sands and Carlsbad), a state that most people visiting the Southwest seem to skip, unfortunately for them. I saw New Orleans, also a great place to visit. And in the end you went down to the tip of Florida and visited Key West. Very cool trip, and nicely captured in your video!
I loved the video. Very nicely edited. What kind of drone do you use? What kind of video cameras do you use? What kind of mounts for the camers? I'm planning on doing a long road trip like this and want to get some good videos. Thanks.
Fantastic guys I so need to do a Coast to Coast , I have done half the states on various road trips but I have always wanted to do a coast to coast :-) would probably do similar to you to get the Weather ...
Such an amazing video! How long did it take you guys to travel from coast to coast? I plan on doing this very soon and trying to figure out the most affordable way to do it 😊
+Mrs. S Hi, I'm using a DJI Phantom 2 with a Zenmuse H3-2D gimbal and a gopro Hero 3 in this video, there are new, better models available today, good luck!
That depends on many things but the basics are roughly: rental car (3 weeks) $1500-3000, fuel $500, motel $30-80 per night, food $20-50 per day. Good luck!
Hi, we used National Car Rental because they have the lowest "one way fee", that is if you pick up the car in one place and drop it off at another place. We have also used Thrifty and Avis on other trips when pick up and drop off was at the same place, all of them worked out fine. Prices may vary on differnt kind of cars so I would check out a few different companies and compare prices, also try to see what kind of insurace is included in the price. Good luck and have a nice trip!
Sorry, I don't remember, but at around 65$ per day for motel, fuel and food per person, then you have to add the car rental fee. You can spend a lot more if you enjoy fancy dining and nicer motels.
