If you didn't know Akitas are very loyal to their owners but to people they haven't met they are very aggressive so that's why you sometimes see people with an Akita to lift their dogs instead of letting them walk it's a very long and tedious task to gain the trust of an Akita Inu but it's always worth it to gain their trust

Akita inu and Akitas are very loyal, if you haven’t heard the story about hachiko. Hachiko was a Akita inu that he waited for his owner outside the shibuya train station but one day his owner died while teaching in Tokyo university but hachi just kept on waiting outside the shibuya station the next day and 10 years. Hachiko died in 1934 at the age of 11 and was born in 1923, hachikos owner died in 1925 and there’s a movie in Netflix about hachi. It’s called hachi a dogs tale.Hachi was born in odate, Japan and is known to be the loyalest dog to walk on earth. So that’s why Akita inus and akitas are very loyal.
